  • Publication number: 20030024837
Abstract: A socket suspension rack includes a U-shaped guard and a suspension rod attached to the guard to form a space to hold sockets. The suspension rod has multiple holders extending toward the guard to be received in a square hole in the socket to hold the socket in place. Each holder includes two resilient plates facing each other. A boss extends outwardly from the resilient plate and engages to a detent defined in the sidewall of the square hole in the socket. An inverted U-shaped strip is integrally formed between the two resilient plates to provide a restitution force to the two resilient plates to hold the socket in place and prevent the socket from detaching from the suspension rod.

  • Patent number: 6488346
Abstract: A toolbox includes at least one case having a bottom panel, two side panels, a back panel and a top panel connected together to form an internal space. The connecting devices between these panels are integral keys and are corresponding slots respectively formed on the abutting surfaces on the panels. Consequently, these panels can be connected to one another without separate fasteners. A locking lip is formed on the top edge of the side panels and the back panel, and a corresponding locking wall is formed on one side of the top panel opposite to the back panel. Multiple ridges extend out laterally from the top edge of the locking lip and locking wall so a seat or a working table can be attached to the top of the toolbox to make the toolbox more useful.

  • Patent number: 6454427
Abstract: An illuminating utility knife has an easy-access to spare blades contained therein. The knife has a housing made up of a first cover and a second cover coupled together and fastened by at least one screw. A blade is slidably contained in the housing. The utility knife of the invention can be used in dim light because an illuminating device is provided in the knife. The illuminating device includes a bulb installed near the blade, a battery chamber defined in the housing for containing at least one battery, and a switch used for actuating the bulb. Additionally, a spare blade drawer is provided and slidably contained in a passage defined in the housing. At least one spare blade is stored in the spare blade drawer and therefore is easy to be taken out for use.

  • Publication number: 20020113387
Abstract: A toolbox includes a main casing and at least one cover hinged on the main casing to close the main casing. At least one roller is mounted on a lower sidewall of the toolbox. At least one support longitudinally extending out from the cover wherein the and has a length corresponding to a diameter of the roller. A handle is mounted in and parallel to the back of the main casing. Multiple connection members and lips are formed on a corresponding one of the sidewalls of the toolbox except a hinging side of the main casing and the cover to secure the cover on the main casing. Then the toolbox can stand upright due to the rollers and the supports. Consequently, the user does not need to bend at the waist when handling and moving the toolbox thereby preventing the user from sustaining an injury.

  • Publication number: 20020083870
Abstract: A table with a foldable supporting device includes a tabletop and a supporting device provided to support the tabletop. The tabletop has a first face and a second face respectively extending down from a first side and a second side of the tabletop. A limit bar is mounted between the two faces to construct a gap between the limit bar and the tabletop. The supporting device has an H-shaped first leg and an H-shaped second leg pivotally attached to each other. The first leg is pivoted under the tabletop at top ends and the second leg is only abutting under the tabletop at top ends. Thus, the second leg enables to move along the gap between the limit bar and the tabletop via a crosspiece mounted between the two upper ends of the second leg when the table is folded.

  • Patent number: 6283292
Abstract: A toolbox has a body, at least one cover pivotally connected to a pivotal edge of the body, a cap pivotally connected to the pivotal edge of the body and a light received between the body and the cap. Multiple cavities are defined on the inside of each of the body and the covers to receive desired tools. The cap and the covers can be opened relative to the body in the same direction, and the toolbox can stably stand on a horizontal body. The toolbox will not fall when a modest external force is applied to the toolbox.
