    Abstract: The present invention discloses a fastening mechanism, by which an expansion card can be mounted in the housing of an electronic apparatus. The fastening mechanism includes: a base disposed in the housing; a retention member having one side thereof pivotally connected to one side of the base, and the side facing the rear of the housing is provided with a slot for an expansion card to insert therein; and a push handle disposed between the base and the retention member for allowing the retention member to be elastically pushed towards the expansion card to thereby hold the end portion of the expansion card in the slot of the retention member.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an extension card incorporating a power management device applicable to electronic devices. During the operating process, if the removal of the top cover from the housing of the electronic device is detected, power supply to the electronic device is immediately cut off. The extension card incorporating the power management device is characterized in that a plurality of signal pins are disposed on a side of the power management device and electrically connected to a plurality of idle pins of the extension card, the idle pins conveying no signals processed by the extension card but transmitting a power-off signal to the motherboard when electrically connected to the connecting port of the motherboard.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a fastening mechanism for fastening a heat sink to the surface of an electronic device mounted on a circuit board, the heat sink being provided with a first positioning portion, the circuit board having two opposite sides each formed with a notch. The fastening mechanism at least includes a body for pressing the heat sink on the electronic device, at least two bending portions corresponding in position to and striding over the notches respectively, and at least two snap-fit portions disposed at the end of each of the bending portions and wider than the notches respectively, to enable snap-fit engagement of the snap-fit portions with the edges of the notches of the circuit board, thereby effectively fastening the heat sink to the electronic device.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a static electricity conductive mechanism including a plurality of conductive bumps and conductive members, for conducting static electricity generated by a connector device to a base thereof, the connector device having a connector body disposed on a circuit board, and the base being ground to earth. The conductive bumps of the static electricity conductive mechanism are each disposed on the base. The conductive members are disposed between the connector body and the conductive bumps. The conductive members conduct to the conductive bumps the static electricity generated by the connector body, thus conducting to earth the static electricity generated by the connector body. The prior art involves disposing a resilient element between a connector's body and base and thereby results in poor contact and poor conduction of static electricity between the body and the base. The drawback is solved by the present invention.

    Abstract: A gripping mechanism for securing in position a bridge board electrically connecting two circuit boards is disclosed. An electrical connecting portion is installed on both of the circuit boards, for electrical connection with the bridge board which has a terminal at both ends. The gripping component is rotatable so as to better secure in position the bridge board to the circuit boards after the terminals of the bridge board are respectively inserted into the electrical connecting portions of the circuit boards.

    Abstract: An interface card coupling structure includes a bracing member fastened to a case that has a retaining plate extending from an edge with a latch hole formed thereon, and a coupling member pivotally coupled on the retaining plate. The coupling member has a latch pin on one end facing the retaining plate to engage with the latch hole and anchor the coupling member on the retaining plate. The coupling member presses an interface card to form secure coupling. The coupling member may be made by injection forming. The structural elements of the bracing member of the interface card coupling structure are thus fewer. Hence the cost may be reduced and production speed increased.

The fixing member includes a fixing portion for being fixed to the main circuit board; and a combining portion connected to the fixing portion. The combining portion can then return back to its original position by its restoring force after the auxiliary circuit board is electrically connected to the main circuit board.
