  • Patent number: 9796934
Abstract: A method and system for reducing viscosity in the crude oil and the empowerment of its dehydration process pass crude oil over a core that ionizes-polarizes the crude oil with an electrostatic charge. The metal bar core made of an alloy which includes, a weight of, 40-70% copper, 10-32% nickel, 15-40% zinc, 2-20% tin, and 0.05-10% silver. The metal bar core comprises a plurality of grooves, which allows crude oil to be agitated as it comes in contact with the core, activating an electrostatic charge. The electrostatic charge of the core creates a magnetic catalytic reaction that causes: (1) a molecular separation in the molecular chains within crude oil thereby lowering the viscosity and (2) stretches and twists caused by the molecular ionization-polarization of crude oil, causes that this release accordingly congenital or added water that is trapped in it, resulting in a potentiation of the dehydration of crude oil.

  • Patent number: 9799146
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for performing object deformation modeling. One example system includes a hardware processor, a system memory, and a contact-based deformation modeling software stored in the system memory. The hardware processor is configured to execute the contact-based deformation modeling software to receive a first object geometric data corresponding to a first virtual object and a second object geometric data corresponding to at least a second virtual object, and to transform the first object geometric data by an n-dimensional mapping onto an object deformation space determined based on n primitive deformations. The hardware processor is also configured to execute the contact-based deformation modeling software to model a deformation of the first virtual object due to contact with at least the second virtual object, based on the n-dimensional mapping and a definition of direction for an object-to-object contact force.

  • Patent number: 9744373
Abstract: An improved apparatus is provided for transcranial magnetic stimulation in a brain of a subject. The apparatus is comprised of: a plurality of coils electrically connected in series to each other; and a single source of current electrically coupled to one of the plurality of coils. Each coil may include one or more windings of similar dimensions although the size of the windings varies between coils. Each of the coils is further dimensioned to stimulate brain tissue at a given distance while minimizing volume of the brain tissue excited by the magnetic field. During operation, the current source injects time varying current into the coils to create a magnetic field which in turn induces electric fields and eddy-currents inside the brain tissue of the subject.

  • Publication number: 20160016823
Abstract: The present invention relates to a compound material consisting of a natural zeolite having calcium as an exchangeable cation, in which hydroxyapatite on a nanometric scale is grown in a controlled manner on the surface thereof; to the method by which said compound material is obtained; and to the use thereof for removing fluoride from water in order to make same drinkable. As a result of the aforementioned special characteristics of hydroxyapatite crystals, said material has a very high intrinsic capacity (based on the weight of hydroxyapatite) for removing fluoride. This capacity, combined with the low cost and ease of access to the materials used for preparing same, and with the straightforward nature of the method, means that said material is the perfect candidate for removing fluoride from water having high levels of this contaminant.
