  • Publication number: 20210041752
Abstract: To minimize the width of a non-light-emitting border region around an opening in the active area, data lines may be stacked in the border region. Data line portions may be formed using three metal layers in three different planes within the border region. A metal layer that forms a positive power signal distribution path in the active area may serve as a data line portion in the border region. A metal layer may be added in the border region to serve as a data line portion in the border region. Data line signals may also be provided to pixels on both sides of an opening in the active area using supplemental data line paths. A supplemental data line path may be routed through the active area of the display to electrically connect data line segments on opposing sides of an opening within the display.

  • Publication number: 20200388652
Abstract: A display may have an array of pixels formed from organic light-emitting diodes and thin-film transistor circuitry. The organic light-emitting diodes may be interposed between a substrate (30) and a cover layer (70). The organic light-emitting diodes may be white light-emitting diodes (26) that emit white light that is filtered through a color filter array (76) to produce colored light. The color filter array may be located above or below the array of light-emitting diodes. A microcavity may be formed between the substrate (30) and each light-emitting diode (26). The microcavity may be formed from an anode (36) in the light-emitting diode and first (86) and second layers (78) with different refractive indices. The low-refractive-index layer may be formed from a color filter in the color filter array. Light from the light-emitting diode may resonate within the microcavity beneath each light-emitting diode before exiting the display as colored light.

  • Publication number: 20200238178
Abstract: The invention discloses a pure end-to-end deep reinforcement learning for training car racing game AI bot that uses only the velocity information extracted from screen for both training and testing phases without using any internal state from game environment, such as the car facing angle. The learned AI bot can play better than the average performance of human players. In addition, the reward function is designed to consist only the velocity value, and use Ape-X distributed training framework combined with a variant of Deep Q Network to solve the sparse training signal problem caused by the reward function of an original design. Moreover, limit learner rate method is designed that improves the training efficiency and training performance. The AI bot trained in this way can achieve performance beyond the average human level and reach a level close to professional players.
