    Abstract: A reciprocating tool includes a body housing, a handle member and an elastic member. A first one of the body housing and the handle member includes a first coupling part, while a second one includes a second coupling part. The first coupling part includes an internal space, and an opening that communicates with the internal space and an outside space of the first coupling part. At least a portion of the second coupling part protrudes into the internal space through the opening and is movable relative to the first coupling part in the front-rear direction within the opening. The elastic member is disposed in the internal space and is configured to bias the first coupling part and the second coupling part such that the body housing and the handle member are biased away from each other in the front-rear direction.
