    Abstract: In a shift device, operating projections of a rotor cam restrict movement of restricting plates of a click body toward a lower side. Due to movement of the click body toward the lower side being restricted, separating of click pins from concave portions is restricted, and rotation of a knob from a shift position is restricted. Therefore, by using the click body (the click pins) and a click surface (the concave portions), rotation of the knob from a shift position can be restricted, and rotation of the knob can be restricted by a simple structure.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a laminated electronic component having a circuit element formed in an element body. The method includes forming a collective laminated body including a plurality of element bodies having circuit elements formed therein by laminating pluralities of insulator layers and conductor patterns; forming a plurality of external terminals on one of surfaces of the collective laminated body orthogonal to a lamination direction; forming a disappearing layer covering the external terminals and caused to disappear by heat treatment; cutting and dividing the collective laminated body having the disappearing layer formed thereon along the lamination direction into each of element bodies; applying an insulator precursor to a surface of the element body; and forming a laminated electronic component by applying a heat treatment to the element body to which the insulator precursor is applied. In the method, the insulator layers can be replaced by magnetic material layers.

    Abstract: A shift device includes a knob that is rotatable to select one of a plurality of gear modes of a transmission of a vehicle and a cam member that engages a portion of the knob in a rotation direction of the knob. The cam member rotates integrally with the knob only when engaged with the portion of the knob. The shift device further includes a drive source that rotates the cam member and a controller. The controller controls the drive source to rotate the knob to an operation position corresponding to a predetermined gear mode if a particular condition is satisfied. The controller decreases a voltage applied to the drive source when the cam member is rotated in at least a pre-engagement section until the cam member engages the portion of the knob from the voltage applied when the cam member is rotated in other sections.
