  • Publication number: 20060058051
Abstract: There is provided a mobile communication system capable of reducing the power consumption in the packet wait state and promptly transmitting a packet when data transmission is requested. At a predetermined synchronization establishment interval start time (T1), a base station starts transmission of DPCH (DL) which is a downlink individual channel. A mobile station receives the DPCH (DL) and starts synchronization establishment operation. If the synchronization of the DPCH (DL) is not established by the synchronization establishment interval end time (T2), the synchronization establishment operation is continued.

  • Publication number: 20040125766
Abstract: A mobile communication system includes a base station and a mobile station. The base station includes a base station transmitting/receiving section and a base station state updating section. The base station transmitting/receiving section transmits/receives a packet to/from the mobile station. The base station state updating section notifies the mobile station of transmission/reception state update information that indicates update of a packet receivable state in the mobile station. The mobile station includes a mobile station transmitting/receiving section and a mobile station state updating section. The mobile station transmitting/receiving section transmits/receives the packet to/from the base station. The mobile station state updating section sets, on the basis of the transmission/reception state update information, one of an active state in which the control information for packet transmission can be received and a suspend state in which the control information for packet transmission cannot be received.

  • Publication number: 20040127244
Abstract: There is provided a mobile radio communication system which is capable of reducing a group ID in length with respect to the number of mobile stations and realizing efficiency of air resources. Suspend control of mobile stations is performed by notifying not only control information but also transmission/reception state update information for instructing a state [Active/Suspend] in a status update frame set in advance from a base station to the mobile stations using an HS-SCCH. The base station performs the suspend control by sending, in state update information at timing of a state update frame number of a user ID allocated in advance, a group ID of a user ID allocated to mobile stations desired to be made Active in advance.

  • Publication number: 20040091938
Abstract: It is expected that lectins of a needed number of types appropriately corresponding the variation of sugar chains, if available, are highly useful as tools for analyzing various sugar chains. From a lectin library containing plural types of lectins or an arbitrary mass of lectins containing plural types of lectins, lectins needed for analyzing sugar chains are selected to thereby construct a lectin sub-library. Using the lectin sub-library thus constructed, cells having sugar chains are identified. Moreover, an indication method whereby cells can be conveniently identified is provided.

  • Publication number: 20040047318
Abstract: A CDMA radio device is provided which is capable of reducing a hardware scale and providing more accurate path selection with low power consumptions. A down-sampling part outputs data of which sampling frequency is made lower than A/D sampling frequency. A correlator part performs correlation calculation of the data using specific spread codes designated in cell information to create a delay profile. A first path selection part selects a path in the delay profile and transfers selection information to an up-sampling part. The up-sampling part supplements delay profile data at sampling time that has been lost in the down-sampling part. A second path selection part transfers some location information of ultimately determined paths to a base station spread demodulation unit or a mobile station spread demodulation unit as a path timing signal.

  • Patent number: 6704552
Abstract: A plurality of finger units despread a received signal with a first spread code to output pilot signals of a receiving channel which has been spread with the first spread code. An AFC unit despreads the received signal with a second spread code to output a pilot signal of an AFC channel which has been spread with the second spread code. An automatic frequency controller calculates a difference between an oscillating frequency of a oscillator and a frequency of the received signal for the channels based on the pilot signals of the receiving and AFC channels to supply a frequency control signal to the oscillator, whereby the oscillating frequency of the oscillator is controlled so that the oscillating frequency is substantially equal to the frequency of the received signal.

  • Patent number: 6191718
Abstract: Digital data is generated by sampling an analog input signal at a sampling frequency that is N times an A/D sampling frequency that is necessary in an A/D converter. N decimated data strings are generated by decimating the digital data at a ratio of 1/N. Based on the N decimated data strings, a processor produces a digital output signal.

  • Patent number: 6078578
Abstract: There are a receiving unit for receiving a TDMA signal which is FSK (FM) modulated by a signal containing known information, and a demodulating unit 103 for demodulating received data. The demodulating unit 103 outputs a demodulated signal in a direct connection to a C-coupling. A C-coupling demodulation signal is inputted to a synchronization detecting unit 105, and a directly connected demodulation signal is inputted to an AFCBU 106. After a power supply is turned on, the C-coupling demodulation signal is inputted to the synchronization detecting unit 105. The demodulation signal whose synchronization state is being detected is inputted to the AFC unit 106 in a parallel condition and in a direct connection condition. After the synchronization signal is detected, a frequency offset correction is applied to thereby change a frequency offset of the frequency-converted signal by a carrier wave frequency converting section 10.

  • Patent number: 5936543
Abstract: In a secret information identification system, an input password is compared with a registered password every time a permission signal is generated. Lock release permission is given when a comparison result indicates coincidence. Alternatively, an input password is compared with a registered password and lock release permission is given every time a permission signal is generated when the comparison indicates coincidence. The cycle of generation of the permission signal is elongated as the number of events of non-coincidence in comparison results increases. As a result, the password is not easily broken, and further the password input function is not locked even after input of a wrong password.
