  • Publication number: 20220233304
Abstract: A capsular prosthesis is disclosed that is implanted to support posterior chamber placement of IOLs. The capsular prosthesis can be implanted to replace the capsule in situations where the patient's natural capsule has been rendered incapable of providing the structural support necessary to maintain proper centration of an IOL implanted therein. The prosthesis is surgically implanted into the eye by inserting the prosthesis into the eye through a primary incision. The prosthesis is secured to the sclera of the eye with at least two transscleral sutures to establish at least three points of contact between the sclera and the at least three apertures of the prosthesis. The at least two transscleral sutures support the sheet within a desired plane located within the posterior chamber, the plane containing a predetermined surgical axis passing through the center aperture. The IOL is inserted through the primary incision and optically captured on the prosthesis.

  • Patent number: 10791086
Abstract: A methodology for operating an authoritative DNS server includes receiving a DNS query from a DNS client, in response to the DNS query, traversing a label tree stored in the authoritative DNS server to find a resource record that matches the DNS query, while traversing the label tree, encountering a LINK record in the label tree that is configured to redirect the traversing to a different branch of the label tree, and in response to the LINK record, redirecting the traversing to the different branch of the label tree, wherein the LINK record is a resource record type that is hidden from DNS clients and is configured to redirect for an owner of the record type and subordinates thereof.

  • Patent number: 10648298
Abstract: A tubular member (1) with a relative rough (1.5-10 ?m) inner surface (5) coated solid lubricating film (10) which is transformed into a substantially viscous rubbery viscoelasto-plastic phase at temperatures in a range between 50° C. and 110° C. is expanded by moving an expansion member (24) with a relatively smooth outer surface (roughness<1.5 ?m) therethrough, such that during expansion a viscous viscoelastoplastic substantially rubbery lubricating film (44) is generated between the tubular member (1) and the expansion mandrel (24), which film remains bonded to the rough inner surface (5) of the expanded tubular (1), but does not stick to the relatively hot and smooth expansion member (24).
