  • Publication number: 20130312180
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a combination pillowcase and blanket device with a pocket therein for receipt of a portion of a user's head that enables a user to (i) sleep or rest in a darkened environment, even in the presence of sunlight and/or ambient light; and (ii) selectively experience the cooling/warming effects of different materials during periods of rest. More specifically, the blanket portion has opposing sides, each of which is comprised of a different material, and is selectively repositionable between a first position and a second position. When the blanket portion is in the first position, the user is exposed to one of said opposing sides and a first material. When the blanket portion is in a second position, the user is exposed to the other of said opposing sides and a different material.

  • Patent number: 7853811
Abstract: An integrated circuit (300) includes a suspend circuit that includes a first input to receive a suspend signal, a first output to generate an awake signal, and outputs to provide control signals to various integrated circuit resources. During suspend mode, the suspend circuit suspends operation of the integrated circuit resources by driving its output pins to one of a plurality of predefined state selected by corresponding mode select signals and by locking its synchronous elements to known states. Upon termination of suspend mode, the circuit re-activates the integrated circuit resources according to a user-defined timing schedule. The user-defined timing schedule and the mode select signals may be provided to the integrated circuit during its configuration as part of a configuration bitstream.

  • Publication number: 20100068301
Abstract: Disclosed herein are compositions and compounds that combine an inhibitor of 5-lipoxygenase activating protein (FLAP) and a modulator of NO levels in a mammal. The NO modulator can be an agent that induces the production of NO in a mammal, or can be an agent that itself produces NO in the mammal. Further disclosed herein are strategies for synthesizing such compounds, and methods for testing whether the combination compounds and compositions provide a desired benefit. Also disclosed herein are pharmaceutical compositions and formulations that combine a FLAP inhibitor and an NO modulator. Further described herein are methods for using such compositions and compounds for the treatment of diseases, conditions, and disorders in a mammal, including a human. Such treatment methods include the separate administration of a FLAP inhibitor and a NO modulator to the mammal, and the simultaneous administration of a FLAP inhibitor and a NO modulator to the mammal.
