    Abstract: A method is proposed for calculation of optimized filling amounts for containers of a machine for application of agricultural material, in which a path plan is created and the constant or site-specific variable amount of material to be applied along the paths for each container provided in the path plan for the individual containers is added up for calculation and output of the amounts to be filled in each case. In addition, an optimized path plan can be calculated for the machine in terms of a balancing of the amounts of material to be removed from the individual containers.

    Abstract: An arrangement for detection of the amount of material in a supply container of a machine for application of material to a field comprises a data entry device for receiving fill level data concerning an amount of material present in the supply container at a specific time point and an outflow sensor for detection of the amount of material that has flowed out of the supply container. A computer device connected to the data entry device and outflow sensor, the computing device is programmed to calculate the current amount of material in the supply container using the obtained fill level data and the signals of the outflow sensor obtained after the specific time point, and to issue a warning signal if the amount of material in the supply container goes below a predetermined level.

    Abstract: A combination is made up of a tractor and a seeder suitable for direct drilling mounted on a three-point hitch of the tractor. The seeder has a crossbeam that is connected to the three-point hitch and on which a plurality of sowing units are arranged laterally in succession. The sowing units, each equipped with at least one furrow opener, are respectively prestressed downward in relation to the crossbeam by an actuator, and the three-point hitch can be self-locked in relation to a chassis of the tractor. During the sowing operation, the pressing forces for the furrow openers are therefore introduced via the sowing units, the actuator, the crossbeam and the three-point hitch into the chassis of the tractor.
