Abstract: In order to provide a method for regulating a reactive power compensator, which is connected to an alternating current line having multiple phases, wherein for each phase an actual voltage V12, V23 and V31 present thereon is detected and from the actual voltages V12, V23 and V31 a counter system actual fraction is calculated. A control circuit suppresses the counter system actual fraction. A feedback loop determines the level of suppression of the counter system actual fraction with the help of controlled parameters. The method enables an adjustment of the counter system that is largely independent from operating staff. Accordingly, a comparator unit compares the counter system actual fraction to the counter system target fraction and defines the controlled parameters as a function of the comparison.

Abstract: The invention relates to a product carrier comprising a first packaging unit wherein when opened a first switch of an integrated circuit of the product carrier is opened and at least one second packaging unit wherein when opened a second switch of the integrated circuit is opened. The circuit is configured and/or arranged to cooperate with electronic means so that a value correlating with the degree of filling of the product carrier can be determined on the basis of the number of closed and/or opened switches. Further, an antenna cooperates with the electronic means to transmit said value, the electric power for the electronic means may be introduced without contact, and the first and the second switch are connected in parallel.

Abstract: A locking block device (100) provided in the region of a cartridge chamber (121) of a handgun barrel (120) has a locking block (110) for releasably locking the barrel (120) to a breech prior to firing, and has a control member (111) having a control guide (112) for swinging out the barrel (120), after firing, for the purpose of separating the barrel (120) from the breech, and further has a feed ramp (140) formed in the region of a stop member (130) of the locking block (110) for feeding a cartridge, stored in a magazine of the handgun, into the cartridge chamber (121) following ejection of a fired cartridge. A modular design capable of being adapted to meet specific requirements is achieved in that the feed ramp (140) is formed on a ramp member (150) capable of being separated from the locking block (110) and releasably locked to the locking block (110).

Abstract: In a motor vehicle having two, in particular electrical, drives, a partial torque is in each case intended to be assigned to the individual drives from a demanded total torque, to be precise taking account of the energy efficiency on the one hand and the stability of the vehicle on the other hand. A first controller is responsible for taking account of the energy efficiency, and predetermines a bandwidth of possible partial torques for an individual drive. This bandwidth may be restricted by a second controller, when driving stability requires this. The second controller is coupled to appropriate sensors (yaw rate sensor, lateral acceleration sensor, longitudinal acceleration sensor) and knows the steering angle ?. In the course of interchanging data signals with a first control device, the partial torques are defined with the involvement of the second control device, for which purpose the first control device emits control commands.

Abstract: An exchangeable adapter assembly for a handgun includes a handle frame having a trigger and a handle, into which a magazine can be inserted. A quick changeover is ensured by the assembly in that in the rear and front regions of the handle frame at least one adapter element is provided which cooperates with a rear and front adapter piece of a grip enhancer for attachment of the grip enhancer 100 to the handle frame. In the rear part of the handle frame there is also provided an eyelet device which, when the grip enhancer is attached to the handle frame, positively engages a bore in the grip enhancer. A securing pin can be releasably inserted into the eyelet device in order to releasably connect the grip enhancer to the handle frame.

Abstract: The invention relates to a construction machine, especially a road construction machine, comprising a machine frame and a chassis carrying the machine frame with several wheels, with at least one of the wheels being connected with the machine frame via a height-adjustable lifting column and the lifting column comprises a distance measuring device for measuring the adjustment of the lifting columns with a sensor. The invention further relates to a method for controlling and/or monitoring the working depth of a working device for processing the ground arranged on a height-adjustable construction machine, especially a road construction machine.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for a checkpoint, comprising a controlled access passage, the exit of which is closed by an exit door (gate). Said exit door (5) opens in response to a signal of a least one biometric unit (8) which is arranged in the controlled access space (3) and by which the biometric features of a person desiring passage can be detected, and said biometric unit (8) is arranged frontally opposite of the entrance to the controlled access space (3) and preferably integrated in the exit door (5) of the controlled access space (3). A person entering the controlled access space (3) is therefore immediately located quasi automatically in the correct position for detection by the biometric unit (8), which is to say, frontally opposite of the biometric unit.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a process for the preparation of an alkenyl-substituted cyclic anhydride compound comprising the steps of subjecting one or more olefinically unsaturated C6-C28 hydrocarbons of which at least 30% by weight is alpha-olefin to a double bond isomerization step by contacting them with a catalyst comprising an alkali metal on a carrier, and reacting the resulting isomehzed olefinic C6-C28 hydrocarbons with a cyclic anhydride of an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid to form the alkenyl-substituted cyclic anhydride compound. Abstract: A method of processing digitized picture data includes providing an hierarchical structure graph which is applied to the picture data in that, starting with the lowermost level, at least one node is processed. The provided hierarchical structure graph includes nodes, a specified number of levels, with at least one node located in each level, and edges connecting pairs of predetermined nodes of different levels and defining, for each pair of nodes, a lower father node and an upper son node. Processing of a node includes matching of its at least one picture matching model to the picture data by variation of the model parameters, determination of a matching quantity for each parameter variation, and determination of an assessment for each parameter variation. The assessment found for each parameter variation is applied as a criterion for the processing of a son node of the processed node.
