  • Publication number: 20080046574
Abstract: A communication system in which, even when an HTTP session is disconnected from a mobile device, the HTTP session can be continued or a response from a Web server can be returned to a user, without installing a special application in the mobile device. A load-distributable system is provided for realizing such operation. To that end, in a communication system having a relay device that relays a request from a portable telephone terminal (110) to a Web server (120), the relay device (130) relays a processing request from the portable telephone terminal (110) to the Web server, and stores a processing response from the Web server. The relay device (130) sends the portable telephone terminal a message to the effect that the processing response should be acquired from the relay device (130) or a message with the processing response added.

  • Publication number: 20070169753
Abstract: A hydraulic control apparatus for an automatic transmission comprises a linear solenoid valve for outputting a control pressure, a primary regulator valve for regulating a line pressure in accordance with the control pressure, and a secondary regulator valve for regulating a secondary pressure in accordance with the control pressure, the secondary pressure being supplied to a lock-up clutch and a torque converter. A spool of the secondary regulator valve is formed to comprise a large diameter portion and a small diameter portion, thereby eliminating the need for components such as a sleeve, and the line pressure can be input into an oil chamber formed between the large diameter portion and small diameter portion.

  • Publication number: 20070155568
Abstract: The present invention provides an automatic transmission having a main bearing disposed between the inner surface of a boss portion of a first drum and the outer surface of a cylindrical support, for rotatably supporting the first drum. An auxiliary bearing is press-fit into one end of the interior of the boss portion of the first drum and surrounds the cylindrical support with an annular gap therebetween. The auxiliary bearing contacts the cylindrical support only when the first drum tilts relative to the central axis of the transmission, and has a shorter axial length than that of the main bearing.

  • Patent number: 7232022
Abstract: In a hydraulic servo for a clutch, a cancel plate is disposed on a second clutch drum that undergoes the same rotation as a second clutch drum provided with a cylinder portion, in such a fashion that the cancel plate is restricted from moving to a side opposite from a return spring in an axial direction. The first clutch drum is disposed, as a separate member, on the second clutch drum. A step portion of the second clutch drum prevents the first clutch drum from moving to a side opposite from the cancel plate. Due to the spring force of the return spring, the oil pressure in the cancel oil chamber and the oil pressure in the operating oil chamber, the force that presses the first clutch drum to the step portion is always greater than the force that presses the first clutch drum to the cancel plate side.

  • Publication number: 20060280392
Abstract: A lubrication groove is formed on a sliding face of a bushing, both ends of which open to the same end face of the bushing. The lubrication groove has inclined portions that extend from the openings in directions that approach each other, and a parallel portion that is in communication with the ends of the inclined portions via curved portions. Oil is guided to the lubrication groove so as to form an oil film on the sliding face. Sealability is achieved because the lubrication groove only opens to one end face of the bushing.

  • Publication number: 20040140443
Abstract: In a hydraulic control apparatus, a valve accommodation hole of a valve body also serves as a sleeve, and a spool is fitted in the valve accommodation hole. Therefore, the size of the valve accommodation hole is reduced by an amount corresponding to the thickness of the sleeve, thus reducing the weight and size of the hydraulic control apparatus. Also, a solenoid portion is detachably fixed to the valve body with a snap-fastener. Accordingly, in the case of a failure of the solenoid valve, only one of the solenoid portion and the spool can be easily replaced depending upon the type of the failure by canceling fixation with the snap-fastener.

  • Publication number: 20030150308
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a blade for cutting a copper foil being capable of further decreasing the amount of slivers generated at the time of processing, e.g., cutting, punching, and perforating a copper foil and also capable of making the size of the slivers smaller. To achieve the purpose, a disk-like blade to be employed for a copper foil-slitting apparatus is coated with diamond-like carbon (DLC) or diamond-like carbon soft (DLC-soft) on at least a part to be brought into contact with a copper foil at the time of cutting. The coating reduces the unevenness of a blade surface, thereby providing a face being scarcely scratched with the copper foil. Subsequently, the amount of the slivers generated is remarkably decreased and the cutting property is improved.

  • Patent number: 6055879
Abstract: A hydraulic control system for an automatic transmission of multiple clutch type, in which a switchover valve (2 in FIG. 4) for switching-over clutch control pressures includes two spool valvules (4 and 6). When one of two clutches (C1 and C2) is supplied with the clutch control pressure and is held in engagement, the spool valvules (4 and 6) operate to cut off the supply of the clutch control pressure for the other clutch to-be-disengaged and to hold the engagement of one clutch to-be-engaged. Thus, even when the supply source (12 or 14) of the clutch control pressure has failed, the clutches (C1 and C2) are prevented from coming into multiple engagement.

  • Patent number: 5951433
Abstract: In an automatic transmission, a small-capacity second clutch that does not engage for reverse drive is mounted forward of a counter drive gear, and the other engaging elements of relatively larger capacity, that is, first and third clutches and first to third brakes, are disposed rearward of the counter drive gear, so that an axially extending space is formed between the counter drive gear and the second clutch, which space is utilized to accommodate a parking gear. Such an arrangement of engaging elements allows the counter shaft to be placed closer to the input shaft without the parking gear interfering with the second clutch, thereby enabling a more compact automatic transmission. Furthermore, since there is no need to relocate the counter drive gear rearward, the length of the counter shaft can be reduced, thereby enabling still greater compactness.

  • Patent number: 5851164
Abstract: In a hydraulic control system for an automatic transmission of multiple clutch type for use in a motor vehicle, a shift valve which inverts the supply and cutoff of working oil for a hydraulic actuator serving to change-over gear shift stages is provided with a spool valvule and a clutch-oil-pressure supply port (as shown in FIG. 1). Even when a solenoid valve for controlling the shift valve has failed, a clutch oil pressure is supplied from the clutch-oil-pressure supply port so as to hold the switchover position of the spool valvule and to keep the gear shift stage already established. Thus, the hydraulic control system prevents an engine speed from rising or the motor vehicle from locking due to the failure of the solenoid valve.

  • Patent number: 5720203
Abstract: A twin-clutch-type transmission, which has a general input shaft, a first clutch connected with a first clutch output shaft, a second clutch connected with a second clutch output shaft, a sub shaft, and a general output shaft disposed parallel to the first clutch output shaft and the second clutch output shaft, is improved to effectively use the space around the sub shaft. A first gear connected to the first clutch output shaft and a second gear connected to the sub shaft associatingly interlock the sub shaft and the first clutch output shaft while being meshed to each other. A fifth gear and a sixth gear disposed on the general output shaft are respectively meshed with the third gear and the fourth gear which are connected to the second clutch output shaft and selectively connected to the general output shaft with a first synchronizing device disposed on the general output shaft, and interlock the second clutch output shaft and the general output shaft in association with the third gear and the fourth gear.

  • Patent number: 4879921
Abstract: Herein disclosed is a transaxle casing to be used with a transverse type automatic transmission. An arcuate partition extending from the top to the bottom of a transmission gear case is disposed between the radially outermost rotary member of the transmission gear seat and a cover wall and in front of the transmission gear set with respect to the running direction of a vehicle. An oil sump is disposed below the transmission gear set. Thus, the lubricating oil splashed away the rotary member is guided into an oil return passage extending between the partition and the cover wall and opening into the oil sump so that it may be prevented from being caught again by the transmission gear set and heated to a high temperature.
