  • Publication number: 20010043100
Abstract: In the present invention, an external power source supplied to an integrated circuit device is divided into a first external power source for the DLL circuit and a second external power source for circuits other than the DLL circuit. According to the present invention, it is arranged that power source noise generated in the second external power source cannot be transmitted to the variable delay circuit by utilizing the first external power source preferably for the variable delay circuit of the DLL circuit and even more preferably for its delay unit. Also, preferably, it is arranged that power source noise generated in the second external power source cannot be transmitted to the phase coincidence detection unit by utilizing the first power source for the phase coincidence detection unit in the phase comparison circuit of the DLL circuit.

  • Patent number: 6198689
Abstract: The present invention is an integrated circuit device having a self timing control circuit for generating an input loading timing signal whose phase is adjusted with an external clock, where loading of input signals supplied from outside, such as a command input signal, address input signal and data input signal, to internal circuits is forbidden when the self timing control circuit is adjusting phase. And when the self timing control circuit finishes adjusting the phase to a certain degree, the loading operation of an input signal at the input circuit using the input loading timing signal is enabled. To execute such an operation, the input circuit generates an input loading control signal based on a lock-on signal or adjustment signal of the DLL circuit, or based on an input stop cancellation signal, for example. The input circuit controls the stop and restart of loading of the input signal according to this input loading control signal.

  • Patent number: 4974008
Abstract: A focus detecting system is provided with a non-destructive type photoelectric conversion element array, an A/D converter for converting the analog output of the photoelectric conversion element array into a corresponding digital value, and a focus-detecting arithmetic circuit for performing arithmetic operations upon the distance to an object on the basis of the digital value output from the A/D converter. In the focus detecting system, when a predetermined initial integration period elapses after the storage of the electric charge has been started, a sequence of in-focus-state detecting operations comprising the steps of effecting non-destructive readout of the output of the photoelectric conversion element array, performing A/D conversion of the readout output and performing arithmetic operations for focus detection is repeatedly executed so that focus detection is effected.

  • Patent number: 4404944
Abstract: A fuel supply system for an injection-type internal combustion engine using a gasoline or alcohol blended gasoline as a fuel. In addition to a conventional fuel supply system there is provided a fuel temperature detector which detects and signals the fuel temperature increases and exceeds a predetermined value and a fuel pressure regulating means responsive to the fuel temperature detector for raising the fuel pressure within the fuel supply line applied to each fuel injector above a constant value regulated according to the pressure difference between the fuel pressure within the fuel supply line and the intake manifold vacuum pressure so as to prevent the fuel supply line from being clogged due to the occurrence of vapor lock at the time when the engine is started at a high fuel temperature or when the engine runs at a low speed under a high fuel temperature.
