  • Publication number: 20150007684
Abstract: An accelerator device includes a first cover that provides an internal space for housing a return spring and a failure region where the first cover engages a second cover. The failure region has a thickness configured to be thinner than a thickness of a body of the first cover. When a pedal rotates to open an accelerator, a second cover side friction member creates a force that pushes the second cover toward an outside of the device. The force is relayed to a contact portion of the first cover via a contact portion of the second cover and causes a failure of the failure region. As a result, the return spring is prevented from falling out of the internal space when the body breaks.

  • Publication number: 20140298948
Abstract: An accelerator pedal is supported by a support member. A biasing member biases the accelerator pedal to the full close position. A resistance application unit increases a frictional force to increase a rotational resistance applied to the accelerator pedal, as a rotation angle of the accelerator pedal increases. A slidable portion is mounted to the support member and slidable on the accelerator pedal. A first latch portion and a second latch portion define an interspace therebetween in a rotational direction. The support member includes a rotation restrictive projection fitted between the first latch portion and the second latch portion.

Abstract: Each of a cross sectional shape of a contacting portion of a stopper arm and a cross sectional shape of an outer peripheral surface of a pedal shaft is formed in a circular shape, wherein a curvature radius is equal to each other. Each of a cross sectional shape of a stopper surface of a supporting body and a cross sectional shape of an inner peripheral surface of a bearing portion is formed in a circular shape, wherein a curvature radius is equal to each other. A distance between a center of a first virtual circle formed by the contacting portion and a center axis of the pedal shaft is made to be equal to a distance between a center of a second virtual circle formed by the stopper surface and a center axis of the bearing portion. An angle of the stopper arm with respect to the supporting body is not changed, even when the center axis of the pedal shaft is displaced with respect to center axis of the bearing portion.

  • Publication number: 20140151112
Abstract: Disclosed is a case for an electric junction box capable of preventing water that hits onto and bounds from a projection from invading into the case. The case for the electric junction box includes a synthetic resin made case main body, an upper cover, and a lower cover. Adjacent to a part where the case main body and the upper cover are joined a bracket for fixing car body that projects from an outer face of the case main body is disposed. The bracket is provided with a plurality of insertion holes for draining water. The plurality of insertion holes is also disposed throughout the bracket. In such the case, the water blown to the bracket falls down, without bounding, through the insertion holes, and thus making it possible to prevent the water from invading into the case.

  • Publication number: 20140145713
Abstract: When a rotational angle of a pedal is in a range from an angle of zero degrees to a predetermined rotational angle, which is larger than a full-opening-time rotational angle, a first Hall IC outputs a first voltage, which is twice larger than a second voltage outputted from a second Hall IC. When the rotational angle of the pedal is larger than the predetermined angle, the first Hall IC outputs a predetermined constant voltage. When an output difference, which is computed based on the first voltage and the second voltage, is equal to or smaller than a second threshold value, an abnormality of the sensed rotational angle of the pedal is determined.

  • Publication number: 20140116381
Abstract: An accelerator pedal is urged in an accelerator closing direction by a hysteresis spring and a return spring. A first increase rate is obtained by dividing an urging force of the hysteresis spring exerted in an accelerator-full-opening position of the accelerator pedal by the urging force of the hysteresis spring exerted in an accelerator-full-closing position of the accelerator pedal. A second increase rate is obtained by dividing an urging force of the return spring exerted in the accelerator-full-opening position of the accelerator pedal by the urging force of the return spring exerted in the accelerator-full-closing position of the accelerator pedal. The second increase rate is smaller than the first increase rate.
