  • Patent number: 7752594
Abstract: A failure analysis apparatus 10 is composed of an inspection information acquirer 11 for acquiring at least a pattern image P1 of a semiconductor device, a layout information acquirer 12 for acquiring a layout image P3, a failure analyzer 13 for analyzing a failure of the semiconductor device, and an analysis screen display controller 14 for letting a display device 40 display information about the failure analysis. The analysis screen display controller 14 generates a superimposed image in which the pattern image P1 and the layout image P3 are superimposed, as an image of the semiconductor device to be displayed by the display device 40, and sets a transmittance of the layout image P3 relative to the pattern image P1 in the superimposed image. This substantializes a semiconductor failure analysis apparatus, analysis method, analysis program, and analysis system capable of securely and efficiently carrying out the analysis of the failure of the semiconductor device.

  • Publication number: 20050162014
Abstract: An actuator having satisfactory responsiveness. The actuator includes an input terminal, an output terminal, a switch connected between the output and input terminals, a driving portion, and a control circuit. When reset, the control circuit sets an initial value and opens the switch to disconnect the input and output terminals from each other. When the control circuit receives a control signal including a predetermined value, the control circuit changes the initial value to the predetermined value, which is used as the address value of the actuator and closes the switch to connect the input and output terminals to each other.

  • Patent number: 6809458
Abstract: A control apparatus controls an ultrasonic motor. The ultrasonic motor includes a stator, a piezoelectric element provided in the stator, and a rotor. The rotor is slidably pressed against the stator. When a driving high frequency voltage is applied to the piezoelectric element, the stator is vibrated to rotate the rotor. The control apparatus includes measuring means. The measuring means changes the frequency of a searching high frequency voltage, the searching high frequency voltage being lower than the driving high frequency voltage, thereby measuring a resonance frequency of the ultrasonic motor. The control apparatus drives the motor in a favorable manner.

  • Patent number: 5760342
Abstract: Combinational weighing by ranks is carried out by supplying articles of different weights to a plurality of weighing devices one at a time, measuring individual weights of these articles by the weighing devices, classifying the weighed articles individually into ranks according to their measured weights, and carrying out combinational weighing only on those of the weighed articles in a same rank. The combinational weighing is carried out preferentially on the articles in the most populated rank. An apparatus for this method not only includes a plurality of weighing devices, an article supplying units adapted to supply articles of different weights one at a time to these weighing devices, and a device for carrying out combinational calculations but also is adapted to classify weighed articles into ranks according to the measured weights.
