  • Patent number: 9515355
Abstract: Disclosed are a method for adequately sorting used secondary batteries; a rebuilt battery pack that incorporates the used batteries sorted by the sorting method and have identical characteristics; a vehicle and a battery operated device which use the rebuilt battery pack; and a method for manufacturing a rebuilt battery pack which employs used batteries having identical characteristics. The method for sorting used secondary batteries includes a resistance measurement step for measuring the battery resistance of a battery the characteristics of which show a bathtub curve with respect to the period of use. The method further includes a resistance distinguishing step for distinguishing whether the battery resistance of the battery is greater or less than a period threshold value for identifying to which one of the following periods the battery belongs: an initial-stage high-resistance period, and end-stage high-resistance period, and a middle-stage low-resistance period.

  • Publication number: 20160261947
Abstract: The present invention discloses a wire storage. The wires are stored within an independent channel which, by means of a zipper, can be removably winded on to the main body, thus storing the wires and effectively protecting the same; when the channel is connected by means of the zipper to the main body, the channel becomes a part of the storage. A further storage space is formed within the main body of the storage, or a new storage space is formed when the zipper is closed, the spaces are able to be adapted for use with other electronic products and thus enhancing the utility of the product. The present invention greatly decreases the possibility of wires being damaged or broken by external forces, is suitable for a variety of usage scenarios, and is aesthetically pleasing and convenient to use.

  • Patent number: 9221448
Abstract: A vehicle brake hydraulic pressure control apparatus includes an acquiring section, first and second control quantity calculators, and a holding section. The acquiring section acquires engine restarting information. The first control quantity calculator calculates a first control quantity. The second control quantity calculator calculates a second control quantity larger than the first control quantity. The holding section holds a brake hydraulic pressure. If the brake hydraulic pressure lowers from a point in time when the vehicle is stopped to a point in time when the acquiring section acquires the engine restarting information, the holding section holds the brake hydraulic pressure with the first control quantity. If the acquiring section acquires the engine restarting information, the holding section holds the brake hydraulic pressure with the second control quantity. If the restarting of the engine is completed, the holding section holds the brake hydraulic pressure with the first control quantity).

  • Patent number: 8972790
Abstract: A controller section outputs a first signal and a second signal holding a phase relationship with the first signal. The second signal is received by a memory I/F section via a FIFO memory of an error detecting section. The memory I/F section performs timing adjustment for the first and second signals, outputs the first and second signals after the timing adjustment to a memory, and loops back the second signal. A data comparator compares the looped-back second signal with the original second signal outputted from the FIFO memory and corresponding to the looped-back signal.

  • Patent number: 8940422
Abstract: A battery cell includes a battery housing case formed with a through hole communicating with an interior space, a hollow rivet, and a seal rubber. The hollow rivet has a seal surface annularly extending outside the battery housing case, and a hollow portion formed with an exhaust port continuous to the inner edge of the seal surface and positioned at the through hole to allow gas in the interior space to flow out through the exhaust port. The seal rubber has a contact unit extending annularly facing the seal surface to press the seal surface and is provided so as to close the exhaust port. The contact unit is formed to project toward the seal surface so as to contact the seal surface at a position away from the inner edge of the seal surface. Such an arrangement prevents an electrolyte leakage over a long period of time.

  • Patent number: 8850255
Abstract: A storage system includes a storage and control units. In each of the control units: a relay unit relays access to the storage; an access controller accesses the storage through one of the relay unit in the control unit and the relay unit in another of the control units; and an operational-state controller determines whether or not the relay unit in the above-mentioned another control unit is usable when the operational-state controller detects occurrence of an abnormality in the above-mentioned another control unit, and makes the above-mentioned another control unit transition to a partially-operational state when the relay unit in the above-mentioned another control unit is usable. In the partially-operational state, at least the access controller in the above-mentioned another control unit is not in operation and the access controller in the control unit can access the storage through the relay unit in the above-mentioned another control unit.
