  • Publication number: 20140020452
Abstract: A fuel property sensor has an external electrode, an internal electrode, a temperature detecting device, a holder portion, a sealing portion, and a calculation unit. The external electrode includes a passage portion and a projecting portion. The internal electrode is disposed in the passage portion of the external electrode at a predetermined distance from an inner wall of the passage portion and the internal electrode. The temperature detecting device detects a fuel temperature. The holder portion is disposed in the projecting portion of the external electrode and holds the temperature detecting device therein, and the holder portion and the projecting portion define a transfer passage. The sealing portion insulates the external electrode and the holder portion from each other, and prevents fuel flowing in the transfer passage from leaking outside. The calculation unit calculates fuel properties and electrical characteristics of fuel flowing between the external electrode and the internal electrode.

  • Patent number: 8500325
Abstract: The present invention relates to a buffer member, a shock buffering structure of an electronic device, and an electronic device. A buffer member interposed between a wristwatch case and a watch module therein is composed of a viscoelastic body which, when the wristwatch case receives shock, reduces shock to be transmitted to the watch module by changing its shape while converting the kinetic energy to heat energy, and quickly reduces elastic force on the watch module by reducing the conversion of the kinetic energy to elastic energy accompanying the shape change. The viscoelastic body includes a first viscoelastic body section formed to cover the top and side surfaces of the module, a second viscoelastic body section arranged in predetermined portions of the first viscoelastic body section, and a third viscoelastic body section arranged along the inner peripheral edge of the top surface of the first viscoelastic body section.

  • Publication number: 20130086983
Abstract: A tubular external electrode has an inner passage configured to flow fuel therethrough. A bottomed tubular internal electrode is at a predetermined distance from an inner wall of the external electrode. A temperature sensor is located in the internal electrode. A detection unit detects a property of fuel according to both a signal from the temperature sensor and an electrical property of fuel in the inner passage. The temperature sensor has a center located between the center axis of the internal electrode and an inner wall of the internal electrode located on an upstream side relative to fuel flow in the inner passage.

  • Patent number: 8259964
Abstract: A sound device includes an input terminal for electronic signal input; a line out terminal adapted to output electronic signals input on the input terminal to an external area; a delay arrangement adapted to delay electronic signals input on the input terminal for a certain time; a main output arrangement adapted to output electronic signals delayed by the delay arrangement. The delay arrangement delays signals in order to accommodate a time difference between (1) electronic signals output from an external sound device connected with the line output terminal and (2) electronic signals output from the main output arrangement. The time difference between sound that is output from the sound device and the one that is output from an external sound device that is connected with line connection terminal can be eliminated. Thus, it can prevent sound quality decrease due to time difference from happening.

  • Publication number: 20120189131
Abstract: Musical sound signals in at least one frequency band in a low band range are enhanced by a low-pitched sound enhancement processing device. Musical sound signals greater than a predetermined level are compressed by a compression device, such that the level in a low band range would not become excessively large, while musical sound signals with a lower level are enhanced by an enhancement device to be outputted with sufficient sound pressure. Also, the input/output level ratio is determined based on the level of inputted musical sound signals, to prevent the output level from becoming smaller than the input level.

  • Publication number: 20120181174
Abstract: A fuel sensor includes a passage forming unit, an outer electrode, an inner electrode, and a fuel characteristic detecting device. The passage forming unit defines a fuel passage and a receiving hole intersecting with the fuel passage perpendicularly. The outer electrode having a cylindrical shape is accommodated in the receiving hole, and includes first and second flow ports, which communicate with an inlet side part and an outlet side part of the fuel passage in a radial direction of the outer electrode respectively. The inner electrode is disposed radially inward of the outer electrode. The fuel characteristic detecting device detects an electrical characteristic of fuel flowing through an inner passage which is formed between the inner electrode and the outer electrode. Passage resistance against fuel is larger along an outer passage, which is formed between the outer electrode and the passage forming unit, than along the inner passage.

  • Patent number: 7915510
Abstract: A tuning device includes an input terminal configured to receive an input electrical signal and a pitch detector to detect a pitch of the input electrical signal. A manual pitch designator designates a standard pitch from pitches of a scale. An automatic pitch designator designates a standard pitch from a scale that is closest to the pitch of the input electrical signal. A mode selector selects either a manual mode where the standard pitch is designated by the manual pitch designator, or an auto mode where the standard pitch is designated by the automatic pitch designator. A pitch comparator compares the pitch of the input electrical signal and the standard pitch and a display device displays the results of the comparison. The display device is configured such that when the standard pitch is designated by the automatic pitch designator, the standard pitch is not displayed.
