  • Publication number: 20080072739
Abstract: A tuning device includes an input terminal configured to receive an input electrical signal and a pitch detector to detect a pitch of the input electrical signal. A manual pitch designator designates a standard pitch from pitches of a scale. An automatic pitch designator designates a standard pitch from a scale that is closest to the pitch of the input electrical signal. A mode selector selects either a manual mode where the standard pitch is designated by the manual pitch designator, or an auto mode where the standard pitch is designated by the automatic pitch designator. A pitch comparator compares the pitch of the input electrical signal and the standard pitch and a display device displays the results of the comparison. The display device is configured such that when the standard pitch is designated by the automatic pitch designator, the standard pitch is not displayed.

  • Patent number: 7320250
Abstract: A pressure sensor includes a sensor chip in which a diaphragm is provided, and a case to which the sensor chip is directly mounted by an adhesive. A groove that surrounds the diaphragm is provided on the rear surface of the sensor chip between the bonded part and the diaphragm. The groove prevents thermal stress, which occurs at the bonded part, from reaching the diaphragm through the sensor chip, and thereby the accuracy of the sensor output is highly accurate. Further, the groove may store any excessive adhesive that may be applied when the sensor chip is bonded to the case to prevent the adhesive from flowing and adhering to the diaphragm.

  • Publication number: 20080000302
Abstract: A differential pressure sensor includes a case, a first and a second pressure sensing element, a first and a second pressure introduction passage, and a differential pressure determining element. The first and second pressure sensing elements work to respectively sense a first and a second pressure. The first and second pressure introduction passages are provided to respectively introduce the first and second pressures to the first and second pressure sensing elements. The differential pressure determining element works to determine a differential pressure as the difference between the first and second pressures sensed by the first and second sensing elements. The first and second pressure sensing elements have the same shape and size and are symmetrically arranged in the case with respect to a reference. The first and second pressure introduction passages also have the same shape and size and are symmetrically positioned in the case with respect to the reference.

  • Patent number: 7284435
Abstract: A pressure sensor for detecting a pressure of a pressure medium includes a casing having an element locating portion, a pressure detection element located in the element locating portion of the casing, and a gel member filled in the element locating portion to seal the pressure detection element. In the pressure sensor, the gel member is exposed from an opening portion of the element locating portion in the casing such that the pressure of the pressure medium is applied to the pressure detection element through the gel material, and the gel member protrudes from a surface of a circumference portion of the opening portion in the casing. Accordingly, it can prevent water from staying on the gel member.

  • Patent number: 6854918
Abstract: A first body is bonded with a second body to accommodate a sensor element therein. An annular convexity is formed at either the first body or the second body along with its peripheral end border. On the other of the first body and the second body, an annular concavity is formed to engage with the convexity. The convexity engages with the concavity to form an inner gap and an outer gap. Glue is filled in the inner gap and the outer gap. The peripheral surface of the convexity and the peripheral surface of the concavity, where the glue is bonded, have plural protrusions.

  • Publication number: 20040169190
Abstract: A semiconductor pressure sensor device has a fully-filling gel structure including a sensor chip for detecting a pressure and generating an electrical signal corresponding to the pressure. This sensor chip of the sensor device is connected with a conductive member such as a terminal using a bonding wire. The sensor chip and bonding wire are covered by a protective member that has characteristics of electric insulation and plasticity. Here, the bonding wire is formed of an alloy of Au and Pd. This structure using a bonding wire of an Au-Pd alloy enables wire strength to be enhanced without the wire diameter being largely increased in comparison with a conventional one.

  • Patent number: 5843264
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a vibration insulating assembly including a rubber vibration insulator and metallic members bonded thereto. In particular, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing the same, by which the quality of the resulting assembly is improved by providing a high bonding strength between the vibration insulator and metallic members. Retainers are provided about the peripheries of the bonding surfaces of the rubber vibration insulator in order to restrict displacement and deformation of the rubber vibration insulator across the bonding surfaces or at the bonding interface with the metallic members and to facilitate its positioning. The presence of the retainers allows for the application of a predetermined pressure on the bonding surfaces to enhance the bonding strength while preventing an undesirable strain from forming in the bonding surface of the rubber vibration insulator.
