  • Publication number: 20050265765
Abstract: An image formation processing system is provided with an image formation portion, an adhesive applying portion which receives a plurality of sheets from the image formation portion, gathers the received sheets in the shape of a bundle to form a sheet bundle, and applies an adhesive to an end face of the sheet bundle, and a post-processing portion which receives a plurality of sheets from the image formation portion, gathers the received sheets in the shape of a bundle to form a sheet bundle, and performs predetermined post-processing on the sheet bundle, where the adhesive applying portion is disposed downstream of the image formation portion in the sheet transport, while the post-processing portion is disposed downstream of the adhesive applying portion in sheet transport.

  • Publication number: 20050249574
Abstract: In a bookbinding apparatus, an adhesive applying portion applies an adhesive to an end face of a sheet bundle allowed to stand in the substantially vertical direction, a storage portion that gathers and stores the sheet bundle which is applied with the adhesive and bound in the adhesive applying portion while letting the sheet bundle stand in the substantially vertical direction, transport means for conveying the sheet bundle while letting the sheet bundle stand in the substantially vertical direction from the adhesive applying portion to the storage portion along a substantially vertical transport path, and a cutting portion which is provided on the transport path between the adhesive applying portion and the storage portion, and which cuts an end face of the sheet bundle while letting the sheet bundle stand in the substantially vertical direction.

  • Publication number: 20040181308
Abstract: A sheet processing apparatus includes: a buffer unit which stores plural supplied sheets with upstream edges in a conveying direction thereof aligned; a processing tray on which sheets discharged from the buffer unit are stacked; and an oscillation roller pair and a return roller which convey the sheet stacked on the processing tray to bring the sheet into abutment against a stopper for receiving the upstream edge of the sheet. The buffer unit is adapted to align the upstream edges of only sheets to be stored before a sheet to be supplied last among the sheets to be stored.

  • Publication number: 20020043107
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and apparatus which can easily measure the thickness of a rust-inhibiting film, provided on a copper surface. The method for measuring the thickness of a rust-inhibiting film, provided on a copper surface by using a rust-inhibiting processing liquid, comprises depositing a copper film on the surface of a crystal vibrator; immersing the copper film of the crystal vibrator in a rust-inhibiting processing liquid; and measuring change in the number of vibrations of the crystal vibrator caused by growth of the rust-inhibiting processing liquid on the copper film. The apparatus for measuring the thickness of a rust-inhibiting film, provided on a copper surface by using a rust-inhibiting processing liquid, comprises a crystal vibrator having a copper film deposited on a surface thereof; and a measuring unit which measures the thickness of the rust-inhibiting film on the copper film by measuring change in the number of vibrations of the crystal vibrator.

  • Patent number: 5624108
Abstract: A sheet feeding device is provided with abreast sheet, stackers each having an elevating tray for stacking sheets, which can be held at an upper sheet send-out position when no sheet is stacked. The elevating tray which remains stationary at the send-out position when the stacker becomes empty of sheet serves as a sheet guide member for delivering the sheet discharged from the adjoining sheet stacker to an image processing device such as a copying machine through a sheet transfer path. Since the stackers other than the first stacker do not necessitate a sheet separator nor sheet transfer path, the device can be simplified without deteriorating the sheet feeding performance and manufactured at a low cost.
