  • Patent number: 7540931
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a flat ceramic sheet including an internal electrode used for manufacturing a multilayer ceramic electronic part. Specifically, an electrode portion is formed on a surface of a transparent base member, and a photosensitive slurry containing dielectric powder is applied thereon. The photosensitive slurry is exposed from the backside of the base member up to a predetermined thickness, and then it is subjected to development. After that, the base member is removed. Thus, a ceramic green sheet is obtained.

  • Patent number: 7333661
Abstract: Even in the case of coding the input image by dividing into tiles, a fine image quality adjustment is possible based on the characteristic of each tile. The input image signal is transformed to the coded data through the tile dividing unit 102, the wavelet transforming unit 103, and the entropy coding unit 106, and is stored in the code memory 107. In parallel to this processing, the distortion calculating unit 108 calculates the distortion in each coding pass of each code block, and stores it in the distortion memory 109. On the other hand, the complex tile deciding unit 111 decides whether a particular tile is the complex tile or not. The tile classifying memory 112 stores the decision output. A distortion data outputted from the distortion memory 109 is outputted to the multiplier 110, the multiplier 110 multiplies the distortion data by the weight coefficient selected by the weight coefficient selecting unit 113.

  • Patent number: 7326310
Abstract: The invention relates to a so-called ceramic green sheet used for manufacturing multilayer ceramic electronic parts. The invention is directed to formation of an insulating layer or a like layer having a complex shape with concavities and convexities while maintaining accuracy in its shape, accuracy in its formation position and uniformity in its thickness. In a process according to the invention, a layer made of a photosensitive material including a powder having a desired electric characteristic is formed on a light transmissive base member. Light such as ultraviolet light having a first pattern is radiated to the photosensitive material from the back side of the base member and light such as ultraviolet light having a second pattern is radiated to the photosensitive material from the back side of the base member so that the photosensitive material is exposed. Then the photosensitive layer after the exposure is subjected to development.

  • Patent number: 7209593
Abstract: The present invention aims to increase an encoding efficiency when the occurrence probability of LPS (less probable symbol) is low. An encoding apparatus has a interval size (A), a interval limit value (C), divides a set interval which is set on a number line, selects a sub-interval corresponding to an occurring symbol, updates the interval size (A) and the interval limit value (C) with a limited precision based on the selected sub-interval size, and encodes a coordinate within the interval. Based on the probability (the occurrence probability of symbol) output from a learning memory, the sub-interval size (LSZ, dLSZ) and the sub-interval limit value are obtained.
