  • Patent number: 8002584
Abstract: A connector has a top housing, a plurality of terminals mounted in the top housing. The top housing forms a plurality of receiving passages therethrough. Two sides of a bottom of the receiving passage are recessed outward to form two pairs of fixing recesses. One end of the receiving passage has a top portion protruding inward to form a resting portion. The terminal has a holding slice having lateral sides extended outward to form two pairs of fixing slices. The holding slice connects with an elastic arm of substantially inverted-V shape with an opening facing to the holding slice. The holding slice is located at a bottom of the receiving passage with the fixing slice received in the holding recess for fix the terminal in the top housing. The elastic arm rests against the resting portion for preventing the deformation of the terminal by the pulling of the terminal.

  • Publication number: 20110107556
Abstract: A hinge includes a second connector having a pintle of which a locating rib is protruded at a peripheral outside, and a first connector which has a pivotal sleeve sleeved to the pintle and defining a slot to break off the pivotal sleeve for locking the locating rib therein. The locating rib can further slide along and abut against a peripheral inside of the pivotal sleeve to produce a friction resistance force therebetween for positioning the first connector at any desired angle relative to the second connector. A reinforcing sleeve is worn around the pivotal sleeve of the first connector for biasing the pivotal sleeve to strengthen the friction resistance force between the locating rib and the peripheral inside of the pivotal sleeve.

  • Patent number: 7927120
Abstract: A connector has an insulating housing of which two opposite ends extended frontward to form a pair of supporting arms, terminals mounted in the insulating housing having soldering portions projected out of a bottom of the insulating housing, a positioning member. The positioning member has a base slice received in a through slot formed at the supporting arm. A top slice and a bottom slice are extended from top and bottom edges of the base slice respectively and perpendicular to the base slice. The top slice is located above a top of the supporting arm, the bottom slice is located under a bottom of the supporting arm for being soldered on the PCB. As the height of the base slice is bigger than that of the through recess, intervals are accordingly formed between the supporting arm and positioning member to achieve an up-and-down movement of the positioning member.

  • Publication number: 20110072619
Abstract: A hinge includes a second connector having a hollow pivotal device of which a peripheral outside protrudes outward to form a locking rib, and a first connector having a pivotal sleeve which is pivotally sleeved to the pivotal device to make the first connector rotatable relative to the second connector. The locking rib is able to slide along and abut against a peripheral inside of the pivotal sleeve to produce friction resistance force therebetween for positioning the first connector at any inclined angle relative to the second connector. A fastening pin is disposed in the pivotal device of the second connector and spaced from a peripheral inside of the pivotal device so that can make the pivotal device pressed inward to produce an outward elasticity to strengthen the friction resistance force between the locking rib and the peripheral inside of the pivotal sleeve.
