Abstract: A locking arrangement for securing portable computers and the like against theft including a cable (40) with a cable head (36) extended by a first stem portion (42), a collar portion (38) and a free end second stem portion (44) all in axial alignment. A prismatic lock body (10) includes a push-in, keyoperated locking device (24) having a releasable locking detent (26′). The body (14) has front (12), rear (18) and two side surfaces (14; 16). First, second and third bores (30; 32; 34) are formed respectively at the front and two side surfaces, in a common plane, passing each other and being of a diameter slightly larger than that of the collar portion (38). The locking detent (26′) is insertable behind the collar (38) and above the first stem portion (42) thus precluding the extraction of the cable head (36) when inserted into any of the bores. Also, the rear side surface of the lock body can be secured to a portion of the computer, e.g., by gluing.

Abstract: A firearm safeguard device, comprises first (22) and second (10) trigger-guard, blocking members. The second member (10) is provided with a fixed, non-rotating ratchet spindle (20). The first member (22) includes a ratchet rider member (42), mounted by means of a coil compression spring (52), allowing both reciprocating and deflecting movements. Locking of the device is achieved by a push-in lock (60) arresting the member (42).

Abstract: A kit-form bicycle-type exercising device which is operable to exercise the feet and the hand muscles of the user. The device comprises friction resistance pedals mechanism, supported on front and rear elongated bars. First releasable fastening structure attaches the bars to a first base plate, and second releasable fastening structure attaches the first base plate to a second plate. When in use, both plates lie in the same plane.

Abstract: An anti-theft device for arresting portable objects such as TV or VCR sets to a stationary base. The device comprises a first elongated block member formed with a recess extending therealong, the recess having a series of undercut profiled portions and a series of non-undercut portions, arranged in staggered relationship. A second, complementary, elongated block member is used, formed with a projecting rib extending therealong, the rib having a series of portions slidably fitting the said undercut portions, and a series of portions freely insertable into the said undercut portions of the first member, arranged in the same staggered relationship. Locking means are provided for interlocking the members to each other after being engaged by matching the said portions and bringing the members into an overlapping position.

Abstract: Firearm safeguard device of the type comprising a pair of mating blocking members adapted to be locked to each other within the trigger-guard. In one embodiment the device is mountable on a wall, preferably with a barrel support bracket. Release of the device can be electrically actuated. In another embodiment, a steel cable is attached, clamped between the blocking members at one end and secured to the wall at its other end.
