  • Publication number: 20190344869
Abstract: An actuator for imparting steering movement to a tiller of a propulsion unit of a marine vessel comprises an absolute position sensor which senses a steering position and a relative position sensor which senses a position of the motor. A steering control unit calibrates the relative position sensor based on a signal of the absolute position sensor. Calibration of the relative position sensor based on a signal of the absolute positon sensor initializes an accumulative position which accumulates a relative position as the actuator moves over time.

  • Patent number: 10066588
Abstract: A multi-chamber blowoff valve is provided for releasing excess air pressure from a duct system associated with a vehicle. The blowoff valve has a valve housing, an engine-air interface, and a multiple piston assembly. The valve housing is configured to secure to the duct system at a duct-air interface. The engine-air interface is configured to allow air in and out of the valve housing. The multiple piston assembly is disposed within the valve housing and includes an upper piston and a lower piston that move in unison. The multiple piston assembly is configured to be in a closed position while a pressure differential is above a certain threshold and to be in an open position while the pressure differential is below said certain threshold. While in the open position, a portion of the air in the duct system is released.

  • Patent number: 10017299
Abstract: The present invention provides, in at least one embodiment, a basket such as a grocery basket or laundry basket, where the basket includes a packaging wrap strap. When the basket is in an open position, the wrap strap is flush to the bottom side of the base of the basket such that it is out of the way. When the basket is in a closed position, the wrap strap, made from elastic, stretches to get around the base of the basket and pulls the base upwards while applying downward force on a rim of the basket to keep the basket closed very flat. The wrap strap advantageously does not interfere with the closing and opening functions, improves storage and carrying, and provides better packaging.

  • Patent number: 9555370
Abstract: An air filter cartridge arrangement, an air cleaner assembly, and components therefor, are provided. The air filter cartridge generally has perimeter shape with an arched side. The filter cartridge may include a media pack comprising strips of single facer material, each strip comprising fluted sheet secured to a facing sheet. In an example depicted, arch-shaped sections of single facer material are nested within one another, to form media pack having a perimeter D-shape. An air cleaner assembly configured for receipt of filter cartridge is described. A particular assembly, convenient for mounting on the cowl, cowling or engine cover of an over-the-highway truck, is provided.

  • Publication number: 20150196932
Abstract: An epoxy and paint roller is disclosed. The present invention includes an elongated handle having a distal end and a working end. The working end is pivotally attached to a roller support having a roller rotatably attached thereto. In one embodiment, the working end includes a knuckle joint that is aligned with a closed loop that is centrally disposed on the roller support so as to receive a fastener therethrough. The handle can be pivoted from one side of the roller to the opposite side thereof so that the handle is substantially parallel to the roller support. Alternatively, the handle can be positioned perpendicular to the roller support so that the present epoxy and paint roller can be used in a usual manner.
