  • Patent number: 9766063
Abstract: A method for treating a nonhomogeneous material surface of an object is provided. A plurality of test patches of the surface is treated for different amounts of time wherein the plurality of test patches have a total surface area. A property of each test patch is measured. A calibration curve of the property is generated with respect to time. The calibration curve and a target property are used to obtain a target time. A surface of the object with a surface area, which is greater than the total surface area of the plurality of test patches, is treated for the target time.

  • Publication number: 20170228207
Abstract: An electronic device includes a touch sensitive display and a processor in communication with the touch sensitive display. The device detects that a second electronic device is in a defined position proximate the electronic device and detects a touch gesture including a swipe tracing a path across the touch sensitive display between a first position proximate the second electronic device and a second position away from the second electronic device. In response to the detection of the touch gesture, regions of the displayed user interface are updated to include visual attributes of a user interface of the second electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20170124473
Abstract: A method for providing an interactive interface for live event outcome selection and prediction may include generating a set of cells for an event. The set of cells may be provided to a client device to present in a user interface. A selection of a cell may be received from the client device. The selected cell may be assigned to a user account. The method may generate a coordinate for each cell in the set, wherein each cell coordinate includes a plurality of dimensions, each dimension corresponding to a different entity of the event, and wherein each cell coordinate is unique for the set of cells. The method may comprise calculating, prior to the start of the event, a probability that an event result represented by a cell coordinate will occur; and presenting the probability in association with the cell on the user interface. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20160144768
Abstract: Improvements in a cargo holder is disclosed. The cargo hold is configurable to accommodate a variety of different shapes and sizes to retain cargo or boxes in an essentially fixed secure position. Monkey Grabs cargo hold takes the standard four tied down areas in the bed of a vehicle and convert to 24 optional tied down areas. The cargo hold do not include any metal components. The cargo hold has multiple securing loops along lengths of the straps for a user to connect into the ends and along the length of the strap to create additional securing locations. This makes the cargo hold a far more useful cargo hold. The cargo hold is configured in a rectangular configuration to connect along the sides of the bed of a truck and also placed across the bed for more versatile uses of the monkey grip cargo hold.

  • Patent number: 9156664
Abstract: The piñata hanging and swinging apparatus includes a boom pipe that pivots about a vertical support via a pivot point. The boom pipe includes a handle such that the boom pipe can be animated to flail a piñata up/down/around the vertical support. The boom pipe includes a handle to enable articulation of the boom pipe, and a pulley is located at an end opposite of the handle through which a string extends to hang said piñata there from. The vertical support is secured to and rotates about a weight block that rests upon the base. An end user stands on the base while articulating the boom pipe in order to animate the piñata hanging from a string.

  • Publication number: 20130159183
Abstract: A method is provided of operating an image-based self-service check depositing terminal when a customer at the terminal is conducting a check deposit transaction. A check to be deposited is received from the customer. An image capture device electronically captures check image data which is representative of an image of the check. The check image data is electronically transmitted via a first communications network to a web service provider to allow the web service provider to determine if the check being deposited is a duplicate check. A verification message is received from the web-based service provider indicating that the check being deposited is either a duplicate check or not a duplicate check. The check image data is transmitted via a second communications network to a consolidation server when the verification message indicates that the check being deposited is not a duplicate check.

  • Patent number: 7676307
Abstract: A control system for a vehicle (10) is described for use in conjunction with the safety system (44) of the vehicle (10). A tire sensor or plurality of tire sensors generates tire force signals. The tire force signals may include lateral tire forces, longitudinal (or torque) tire forces, and normal tire forces. Based upon the tire force signals, a safety system (44) may be activated. The tire force sensors may be used to monitor various conditions including but not limited to sensing a roll condition, wheel lift detection, a trip event, oversteering and understeering conditions, pitch angle, bank angle, roll angle, and the position of the center of gravity of the vehicle.
