  • Publication number: 20160091247
Abstract: A stump sock dryer is configured to rapidly move air through a stump sock quickly drying the stump sock. The stump sock dryer includes a fan capable of moving air. Ducting is connected to the fan such that the fan moves the air through the ducting. An air delivery tube is mechanically coupled to the ducting such that the air moves through the ducting and into the air delivery tube. An air delivery nozzle is connected to the air delivery tube sufficiently sized to accommodate a stump sock. The fan can blow air through the ducting into the air delivery tube and through the air delivery nozzle into the stump sock quickly drying the stump sock.

  • Publication number: 20160047508
Abstract: A piping system drain down tool allows for a controlled draining of any pipe or piping system in a safe, efficient and professional manner. Current methods for draining piping systems is messy, time-consuming and uncontrolled. The piping system drain down tool includes a boring shaft that can turn to penetrate a pipe clamped into the tool. A seal prevents water from leaking and directs draining water out through the tool and through a valve and a hose connector, where a hose can be connected to direct flow of the draining water. The tool can also be used to create a water supply tap at any location within a water system.

  • Publication number: 20150331868
Abstract: A system receives a search query from a user and searches a group of repositories, based on the search query, to identify, for each of the repositories, a set of search results. The system also identifies one of the repositories based on a likelihood that the user desires information from the identified repository and presents the set of search results associated with the identified repository.

  • Publication number: 20150325231
Abstract: To facilitate text-to-speech conversion of a username, a first or last name of a user associated with the username may be retrieved, and a pronunciation of the username may be determined based at least in part on whether the name forms at least part of the username. To facilitate text-to-speech conversion of a domain name having a top level domain and at least one other level domain, a pronunciation for the top level domain may be determined based at least in part upon whether the top level domain is one of a predetermined set of top level domains. Each other level domain may be searched for one or more recognized words therewithin, and a pronunciation of the other level domain may be determined based at least in part on an outcome of the search. The username and domain name may form part of a network address such as an email address, URL or URI.

  • Patent number: 8856099
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for identifying entities using search results. One of the methods includes determining that a first search query includes a respective text reference to each of one or more predetermined attributes, wherein each attribute is associated with a first entity type; obtaining search results for the first search query from a search engine, the search results identifying a plurality of resources; identifying entities of the first entity type that are related to any of the plurality of resources identified by the search results; and selecting names of one or more of the identified entities of the first entity type to include in a response to the first search query.

  • Patent number: 8775439
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for identifying entities using search results. One of the methods includes the actions of determining that a first search query includes a respective text reference to each of one or more predetermined attributes, wherein each attribute is associated with a first entity type; for each of a plurality of entities of the first entity type, generating a combined search query that includes the first search query and a name of the entity; obtaining search results for each of the plurality of entities using the combined search query for each respective entity; and using the obtained search results to generate combined search results to include in a response to the first search query.

  • Patent number: 8688455
Abstract: A method and apparatus of facilitating text-to-speech conversion of a domain name are provided. At a processor of a computing device, a pronunciation of a top level domain of a network address is determined by one or more of: generating a phonetic representation of each character in the top level domain pronounced individually; and, generating a tokenized representation of each individual character of the top level domain suitable for interpretation by a text-to-speech engine. For each other level domain of the network address, at the processor, a pronunciation of the other level domain is determined based on one or more recognized words within the other level domain.
