  • Publication number: 20200137076
Abstract: Techniques to facilitate securing web services from unauthorized access are disclosed herein. In at least one implementation, user interactions with a web service are monitored, and sets of the user interactions are generated per originator based on origination information associated with the user interactions. The sets of the user interactions are processed to identify credentials used to access the web service per originator. The credentials used to access the web service per originator are compared with compromised credentials stored in a database to identify one or more user accounts of the web service associated with an originator that used the compromised credentials found in the database. Security measures are applied for at least the one or more user accounts of the web service associated with the originator that used the compromised credentials found in the database.

  • Patent number: 10579720
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for populating user related information, such as in forms at web sites. For example, a method can include providing a web site with information about a user during the front end of accessing the web site by the user. The information can be used to facilitate use of the web site by the user. A system for facilitating access of a web site by a user can comprise an ID provider that is configured to receive a request from a web site for information regarding a user, request information regarding the user from an information provider, and forward the information to the web site. By providing such information to the web site, log on, sign in, and/or registration with a web site can be done quickly, conveniently, and in a manner that is substantially less prone to errors.

  • Patent number: 10459473
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for managing the operations of a plurality of microgrid modules. A microgrid module includes transformers and/or power converters necessary for modifying the input AC or DC power sources to meet the required characteristics of the output power. The microgrid module further comprises a control software module and a power router software module. The control software module receives data from sensors in the microgrid module and controls the flow of power with controllable elements. The power router software module controls the operation of the power router. The power router can detect changes in demand for power within the microgrid module or from other microgrid modules. The power router can adjust the flow of power between the microgrid modules in response to changes in the supply of power to the microgrid module and changes in the demand for power from the microgrid module.

  • Publication number: 20190161228
Abstract: The apparatus includes a moveable support platform within the container to reduce a distance that items fall into the container when stowed. The support platform is lowered by a movement mechanism as items are placed into the container. The movement mechanism may be a bladder filled with air, a biasing device, a pneumatic device, or a mechanical device. The moveable support may form a bottom portion of the container during transport of the container. In some instances, the movement mechanism may lift items out of the container to empty the container at a destination.

  • Patent number: 10284977
Abstract: Securing mechanisms for space access devices, such as an audio signal transmitting device, include a plurality of flattened members that are configured to transition from a relaxed state to a securing state when the space access device is inserted into an internal space or opening that has an inside diameter smaller than an outside diameter of the flattened members in the relaxed state. The flattened members securely engage a surface of the internal space and conform to the shape and size of the internal space. An amount of force applied by the flattened members to the surface of the internal space can be tuned by changing a stiffness of a rib supporting the flattened member.

  • Publication number: 20180167412
Abstract: Techniques to facilitate prevention of malicious attacks on a web service are disclosed herein. In at least one implementation, a computing system intercepts a web request directed to a web server providing the web service. The computing system identifies whether or not the web request is malicious. When the web request is identified as malicious, the computing system redirects the web request to an isolated mitigation server configured to mimic responses of the web server. The isolated mitigation server processes the web request to generate artificial content based on the web request that appears to be genuine content provided by the web server, and presents the artificial content in response to the web request.
