  • Publication number: 20240064118
Abstract: Dynamic content can be delivered via email. Email messages include HTML content with one or more hyperlinks referring to a network-connected dynamic content server. The hyperlinks are accessed upon rendering of the email on a client device, triggering a request to a dynamic content server. The dynamic content server determines a content item to be served in response to the request. The dynamic content item determination may be based on factors including the identity of the requester, the email communication in which the hyperlink is embedded, recent activities or behavior on the part of the requester, and/or known preference or demographic information associated with the requester. The request can be directed to a selected content item stored within a content delivery network, for transmission back to the requester and display to the user within the email.

  • Patent number: 11905538
Abstract: Methods for the production of L-glufosinate (also known as phosphinothricin or (S)-2-amino-4-(hydroxy(methyl)phosphonoyl)butanoic acid) are provided. The methods comprise a two-step process. The first step involves the oxidative deamination of D-glufosinate to PPO (2-oxo-4-(hydroxy(methyl)phosphinoyl)butyric acid). The second step involves the specific amination of PPO to L-glufosinate, using an amine group from one or more amine donors. By combining these two reactions, the proportion of L-glufosinate in a mixture of L-glufosinate and D-glufosinate can be substantially increased.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for facilitating cleaning of a pool. Further, the apparatus comprises an angled nozzle disposed in the pool. Further, the angled nozzle comprises an inlet nozzle portion, an outlet nozzle portion, and a curved nozzle portion. Further, the inlet nozzle portion is to be attached to a return line of the pool and the curved nozzle portion extends between the inlet nozzle portion and the outlet nozzle portion. Further, a central axis of the outlet nozzle portion is offset at an angle relative to a central axis of the inlet nozzle portion. Further, the angle is an acute angle. Further, a first amount of water flows out of an outlet opening of the outlet nozzle portion with a flow characteristic based on the angle. Further, the flowing imparts a circular motion to a second amount of water present in the pool with a motion characteristic.

  • Publication number: 20230331749
Abstract: Compositions and methods for isolating L-glufosinate from a composition comprising L-glufosinate and glutamate are provided. The method comprises converting the glutamate to pyroglutamate followed by the isolation of L-glufosinate from the pyroglutamate and other components of the composition to obtain substantially purified L-glufosinate. The composition comprising L-glufosinate and glutamate is subjected to an elevated temperature for a sufficient time to allow for the conversion of glutamate to pyroglutamate, followed by the isolation of L-glufosinate from the pyroglutamate and other components of the composition to obtain substantially purified L-glufosinate. The glutamate alternatively may be converted to pyroglutamate by enzymatic conversion. The purified L-glufosinate is present in a final composition at a concentration of 90% or greater of the sum of L-glufosinate, glutamate, and pyroglutamate.

  • Publication number: 20230196581
Abstract: Described are systems and methods for segmenting images which comprise impinging a substrate surface with a particle beam at each of a plurality of sensing locations which define a subset of locations within an area of interest of the substrate surface. An intensity value associated with post-impingement particles resulting from the impinging is measured and the measured intensity based on the intensity value of the sensing location is calculated. For each of a plurality of estimated locations which define a further subset of said area of interest and a corresponding estimated intensity based on at least one of the following corresponding to one or more locations proximal to the estimated location is calculated. The plurality of estimated locations is each segmented based on the corresponding estimated intensity, each of the sensing locations, and based on the corresponding measured intensity, to correspond to one of the plurality of features.
