  • Patent number: 10272419
Abstract: SCR-active molecular-sieve based catalysts with improved low-temperature performance are made by heating a molecular-sieve in a non-oxidizing atmosphere with steam (hydrothermal treatment), or in a reducing atmosphere without steam (thermal treatment), at a temperature in the range of 600-900° C. for a time period from 5 minutes to two hours. The resulting SCR-active iron-containing molecular sieves exhibit a selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides with NH3 or urea at 250° C. that is at least 50% greater than if the iron-containing molecular-sieve were calcined at 500° C. for two hours without performing the hydrothermal or thermal treatment.

  • Patent number: 10275463
Abstract: Systems and methods for delivering personalized content streams over a variety of devices and networks are disclosed. A user's preferences, customizations, and content are made available to the user through specialized clients for home, car, office, and portable environments. In order to enable personalized content streams on devices that are intermittently connected or that make use of network bandwidth during off-peak hours, the system prescribes a distributed content sequencing engine and a distributed, synchronized user profile and station/channel definitions. The system is also designed to support players connected via unidirectional or asymmetric connections such as satellite radios with or without an upstream data link.

  • Patent number: 10260078
Abstract: Methods for the production of L-glufosinate (also known as phosphinothricin or (S)-2-amino-4-(hydroxy(methyl)phosphonoyl)butanoic acid) are provided. The methods comprise a two-step process. The first step involves the oxidative deamination of D-glufosinate to PPO (2-oxo-4-(hydroxy(methyl)phosphinoyl)butyric acid). The second step involves the specific amination of PPO to L-glufosinate, using an amine group from one or more amine donors. By combining these two reactions, the proportion of L-glufosinate in a mixture of L-glufosinate and D-glufosinate can be substantially increased.

  • Patent number: 10179329
Abstract: A catalyst article comprises an SCR catalyst and a NOx adsorber catalyst, where each of these catalysts comprise a metal molecular sieve, each with a different metal. The catalyst article can be close coupled with other components to give a NOX performance advantage from cold start to a combined DOC and SCRF system. Higher NOX conversion is also shown in under-floor location due to NOx storage before SCR light off and selective NH3 slip control, allowing higher NH3 fill levels. Systems comprising the catalyst article and methods of using the catalyst article to give improved hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide control, as well as ammonia slip control, are described. The systems can include flow-through or wall-flow monoliths.

  • Publication number: 20180318080
Abstract: Systems and methods for modifying a heart valve annulus in a minimally invasive surgical procedure. A helical anchor is provided, having a memory set to a coiled shape or state. The helical anchor is further configured to self-revert from a substantially straight state to the coiled state. The helical anchor is loaded within a needle that constrains the helical anchor to the substantially straight state. The needle is delivered to the valve annulus and inserted into tissue of the annulus. The helical anchor is then deployed from the needle (e.g., the needle is retracted from over the helical anchor). Once deployed, the helical anchor self-transitions toward the coiled shape, cinching engaged tissue of the valve annulus.

  • Publication number: 20180318116
Abstract: A scaffold is formed by several segments joined or connected to each other by only at least one coupling. The coupling decouples the segments in the axial direction over a finite distance of axial displacement. The scaffold when implanted in a peripheral vessel reduces loading on rings of a segment due to the decoupling of the segments in the axial direction over the finite distance.

  • Publication number: 20180225187
Abstract: A method for announcing impending critical events within a distributed storage environment is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method analyzes, at a storage system, status of various storage system components to predict an impending critical event to occur at the storage system. Predicting the critical event may include calculating an amount of time before occurrence of the impending critical event. The method then communicates, from the storage system to a host system, over an in-band communication channel used to carry I/O traffic between the host system and the storage system, one or more of the impending critical event and the amount of time. This will ideally enable the host system to take mitigating actions before the critical event occurs. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9999244
Abstract: A Pre-Rolled Smoking Paper Stuffer has a chimney which includes a separator wall bin, converging guide, cradle, tip spacer, and base walls and an extractor base which includes an extractor block, alignment block, and tip pusher. A smoking paper can be inserted into the cradle. Smoking materials are placed into the bin and flow out of the bin and into the converging guide which funnels them into the smoking paper held within the cradle. Once filled, the chimney is pressed onto the base and the alignment block aligns the tip pusher with the smoking-end of the paper. As the chimney continues to be pushed down, the tip pusher displaces the filled smoking paper up and out of the top of the cradle. The stuffed paper can be grasped and lifted out of the stuffer. Multiple stuffers can be attached to one another via the use of various attachment means.
