  • Patent number: 7264434
Abstract: A vehicle display lift and rotator includes a base and a platform. A bearing between the base and the platform mounts the platform on the base for rotation about an upright axis. A rotator drive is provided for rotating the platform on the base. The apparatus also includes a base mounting column mounting the base on the ground. The column includes a lifting device for varying the height of the column between a lowered position with the platform substantially at ground level and a raised position with the platform positioned above ground level. With the column lowered, a vehicle may be driven onto the platform, tied down as necessary, lifted to the raised position and rotated for display purposes. This provides a simple drive on-drive off display that is visually very effective, easy to use and unobtrusive when not in use.

  • Publication number: 20070175100
Abstract: A glass run mounting assembly (“mounting assembly”) for a vehicle door. The mounting assembly includes an elongated stepped bracket and an elongated plate attached to the bracket. The plate and the bracket define a channel with a glass run retention member therein. The plate has an outer surface, an inner surface, and a wall thickness therebetween. The outer surface of the plate has an applique thereto. The elongated plate offsets the applique from the glass pane substantially by one of wall thickness of the elongated plate.

  • Patent number: 6894220
Abstract: A grounding member support forms an interference or friction fit with an opening defined by a circuit board. A compliant, electrically conductive grounding member couples to the grounding member support. The grounding member electrically couples a grounding layer of the circuit board with a support mount coupled to the circuit board. During assembly, insertion of the grounding member support within the opening defined by the circuit board creates an expansive or lateral force on the opening. Furthermore, during assembly, the support mount compresses the compliant, electrically conductive grounding member against the circuit board. The interference fit between the grounding member support and the opening along with compression of the grounding member between the circuit board and the support mount limits the amount of stress received by a surface of the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 5150600
Abstract: A resilient member handling apparatus comprising a frame, a mechanism on the frame for bowing successive resilient members, and a mechanism on the frame for forming a nested complement of the resilient members, the mechanism for forming including a first cage member stationarily mounted on the frame, and defining a primary chamber adapted to receive a resilient member, a second cage member stationarily mounted on the frame, and defining a secondary chamber adapted to receive a plurality of the resilient members, a mechanism for feeding resilient members one at a time into the primary chamber from the mechanism for bowing, and a mechanism for transferring the resilient members one at a time from the primary chamber to the secondary chamber.
