Publication number: 20170040073Abstract: A method for preparing low level radioactive hazardous wastes (LLHZ) for disposal in a landfill. The method includes providing a softsided transportable container at a hazardous debris collection site, where the softsided container has at least three layers of materials, an outer, middle and an inner layer, where the middle layer is a water impervious material. Each layer has a closable opening located on the top of the softsided layer. Hardsided closed containers containing LLHZ located in the interior of the hard container are loaded into the interior of the softsided container. Each layer of the softsided container is then closed, and the package transported and shipped to a disposal site for burial.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2016Publication date: February 9, 2017Inventors: Michael Schilling, Michael Sanchez, Troy Town, William Smart

Publication number: 20160296055Abstract: Disclosed are methods and system for reducing or eliminating the possibility of cross-contamination between food to be cooked in a cooking device and food cooking in the cooking device. The methods and systems determine the placement into a cooking device of food product to be cooked by the distance sensor, determine a hygienic safe cooking time (HSCT) for that product based on the identification of food product to be cooked, and compare the HSCT to one or more remaining cooking times of food product cooking in the cooking device on levels below and/or above the desired placement of the food product to be cooked. Various methods of identifying the food to be cooked may be employed, both manual and automatic. As a result of the comparison, the methods and systems of the disclosure can identify safe carrier/tray level(s) for accepting placement of the food to be cooked.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2015Publication date: October 13, 2016Inventor: Michael Schilling

Patent number: 9365345Abstract: A method of lifting a loaded bag with a coupled lifting sling. The bag has a top portion, a closed sidewall, a closed bottom portion, and an opening on the top portion. The method uses a lifting sling coupled to the bag, where the lifting sling is a series of straps that holds the bag. The bag has a series of strap retention devices attached near the bags top edge. The straps are movable vertically in the retention devices. The method includes the steps of loading the bag with a load to a load level, then lifting the lifting straps using a lifting device. The bag's surface above the load line slides down the coupled straps, as the straps are coupled but not attached to the bags above the load line.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2014Date of Patent: June 14, 2016Assignee: PacTec, Inc.Inventors: Troy Town, Michael Schilling, Lewis Strickland, Michael Sanchez

Patent number: 9056710Abstract: A non-self supporting containment bag used in conjunction with a dumpster container. The bag has a center opening that extends across the top of the bag, substantially centered on the top of the bag. The top of the bags is formed with sufficient spare material at the ends of the rectangular shaped bag to allow the top to be inverted over the sides of the container. The opening when closed, has sufficient material to form opposing triangular folds that extends above the top of the bag and the top of the container, when the bag is lining the container.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2013Date of Patent: June 16, 2015Assignee: Pactec, Inc.Inventors: Lewis Strickland, Troy Town, Michael Schilling
