  • Publication number: 20170347835
Abstract: The Double Hinge Double Level Camping Grill is designed for use with a two level camp tire enclosure, the grill comprising a first grill member and a second grill member pivotally coupled to each other via a pair of elongated members, each elongated member having opposite first and second ends, the first end of each elongated member being pivotally connected to the first grill member and the second end of each elongated member being pivotally connected to the second grill member wherein each pivotal connection of the elongated member is a 360 degree pivotal connection. When grilling, the functions when placed upon a two level camp fire include flipping up the bottom level to add wood, provide a hot bottom level and a top warm level providing twice the grill space. Post grilling, the members can be detached for cleaning and folded up for storage.

  • Patent number: 9180847
Abstract: Method for determining a model upstream pressure (PTMC—mod) using a mathematical model in a motor vehicle brake system. An electrically controllable hydraulic valve (7a, 7b) control brake pressure on a wheel brake. Wheel sensors (10a, 10b) provide a vehicle speed signal. From the vehicle speed signal (vref) generating at least a first low pass filtered vehicle speed signal (Vref—fast, Vref—hard, Vref—soft) for using with a first limit frequency (fg1, fg2, fg3), from whose time profile the point in time (t1) of a significant decrease is detected, used for determining a time duration (Timer) starting with deceleration of the vehicle, which ends at the onset of regulation of the braking process. For the classification of the actuation speed of the brake pedal (16) the time duration (Timer) is compared with one or more threshold values (SW1, SW2). Depending on the comparison, determining a model upstream pressure (PTMC—mod) using the mathematical model.

  • Patent number: 8527176
Abstract: A method and system for measuring pressure in a pressure regulation unit of a motor vehicle braking system, without using pressure sensors and having a motor pump unit with an electric motor and a hydraulic pump. The steps include producing a relative motor characteristic diagram for a series of the units. The diagram includes the data of motor-rotational-speed-dependent parameters, intensity of the motor actuation, and parameters relating to the level of the motor load. Further steps include; determining individual motor characteristic variables, determining a current rotational-speed-dependent parameter of an individual motor during the operation of the pump, and calculating a pressure which is characteristic of the braking system, by means of the diagram parameter of the individual motor and the value of the current motor actuation which determines the intensity of the motor actuation, wherein the individual motor characteristic variables are taken into account.

  • Publication number: 20100237121
Abstract: An article of apparel is convertible into a travel pillow and includes an elongated scarf having opposite end regions, a pair of open pockets at the end regions, and a pair of gloves receivable in one of the pockets when not worn on a wearer's hands. A hat is optionally receivable in the one pocket when not worn on the wearer's head. The scarf is foldable onto itself by being folded or rolled from the other of the pockets towards the one pocket to form folded scarf portions. The folded scarf portions are receivable in the one pocket, together with the gloves and optionally the hat, for joint compact storage, or for use as a travel pillow in which the folded scarf portions, the gloves, and optionally the hat, stuff and plump the pillow.

  • Publication number: 20100089605
Abstract: A multi-part electrical/electronics enclosure that may be used for in-wall installation of intercom, home audio, lighting, HVAC or other automation controls and similar system components. The enclosure includes two major components including a back box, serving to enclose low voltage electronics, and a power pocket portion, fitting into at least one wall of the back box. The power pocket serves as an enclosure for high voltage alternating current electrical wire terminations, equipment connections, power supplies and the like. A trade separator fits between the back box and power pocket to completely enclose and isolate high voltage electrics from low voltage electronics. This solution provides maximize use of available space especially in retrofit applications. It also provides for servicing of electronics (disposed in back box) without accessing or servicing high voltage electrics in the power pocket.

  • Publication number: 20100052487
Abstract: A multi-part electrical/electronics enclosure that may be used for in-wall installation of intercom, home audio, lighting and other similar system components. The enclosure includes two major components including a back box and a frame. The frame acts as a structural member for both, electronic components internal to the back box as well as user-facing input/output electronic devices such as a keypad and/or display. The frame is preferably formed from aluminum to act as a heat sink, and has front facing standoffs. The standoffs ensure an air gap is maintained between the frame and a front bezel, to allow for airflow and hence cooling by convection.

  • Patent number: 7551938
Abstract: A command post radio provides for more reliable radio communications between two or more locations using handie talkies by incorporating in the use of a command post radio. In one embodiment, a firefighter on a fire floor of a building can use a handie talkie to send a signal to a post radio on a floor below the fire floor. The post radio can boost and transmit the signal to a mobile radio and Cross Band repeater in a Battalion car where the signal is then transmitted to a handie talkie carried by the Battalion Chief in the lobby of the building. The Battalion Chief can respond to the firefighter on the fire floor via the same path. In addition to use by fire departments, the post radio can be used by different groups for different operations.
