  • Publication number: 20220127536
Abstract: A system that includes a feedstock of a non-petroleum or renewable feedstock containing oxygen and contaminants of one or more of metals, gums, and resins that is introduced into the reactor at a flow velocity of from 20 ft/sec to 100 ft/sec. The feedstock is heated within the reactor to a temperature of from 700° F. to 1100° F. to remove and/or reduce the content of one or more of gums and resins in the fats and/or oils of the feedstock. The system further includes a reactor product that is formed in the reactor from the feedstock that has the one or more of gums and resins in the fats and/or oils of the feedstock removed and/or reduced and a heat exchanger to cool the reactor product. A separator unit separates and removes non-condensable gases, metals and water from the cooled reactor product. A final product of the system is separated from the non-condensable gases, metals and water from the cooled reactor product.

  • Publication number: 20220104653
Abstract: A packable cooking system is provided. To pack the system, the fuel canister is connected to the lid. The legs of the fuel stabilizer are folded and it is placed in the bottom of the pot. The pot support legs of the burner are rotated to their storage position forming an L-shape with the burner mixer tube and the folded burner assembly is placed in the bottom of the pot with the pot support legs along the bottom and side walls of the pot and the burner mix tube extending upward from the bottom of the pot along the side wall. This orientation, when the connection is off-center, allows the fuel canister that has been secured to the lid to fit within the pot in its offset position beside the upward extending burner mix tube with the folded fuel stabilizer below the fuel canister.

  • Publication number: 20220055131
Abstract: This invention, a thread chase with a lead that acts as a smooth bore guide into a threaded hole is suitable where space is confined, and the male thread chase must be exactly aligned with the female threads, “sight unseen”, or damage to female threads may result by applying force to a misaligned thread chase, particularly where the female threads are of softer metals. The lead smooth bore also prevents shavings and other debris resulting from the cleaning from the chase, from falling into the hole that is being cleaned. A recessed tapered area between the threaded portion of this case and the lead smooth bore guide collects the shavings or cleaning residue so that when the tool is withdrawn from the hole, the shavings and cleaning residual will collect in that area and not fall into the threaded hole being cleaned.

  • Patent number: 11254883
Abstract: A non-petroleum or renewable feedstock containing oxygen and contaminants of metals, gums, and resins is treated by introducing the feedstock into a reactor at a flow velocity of from 20 ft/sec to 100 ft/sec. The feedstock is heated within the reactor to a temperature of from 700° F. to 1100° F. to remove and/or reduce the content of the contaminants to form a reactor product. The reactor product is cooled to form a cooled reactor product. Non-condensable gases, metals and water are separated and removed from the cooled reactor product to form a final product. The final product has an oxygen content that is 60% or less of that of the feedstock, and wherein the final product comprises 25 wt % or less any triglycerides, monoglycerides, diglycerides, free fatty acids, phosphatides, sterols, tocopherols, tocotrienols, or fatty alcohols, from 5 wt % to 30 wt % naphtha, and 50 wt % or more diesel.
