  • Patent number: 9480365
Abstract: A food processor includes a housing, a motor disposed within the housing, an output shaft extending outwardly from the housing, a first processing container, a second processing container, and a lid removably and independently attachable to either one of the first and second processing containers. The first and second processing container are each independently and removably attachable to the housing. The first processing container is configured to be at least partially removably disposed within the interior of the second processing container. The lid is attached to the first processing container and the first processing container is attached to the housing in a first operating position. The lid is attached to the second processing container and the second processing container is attached to the housing in a second operating position. A portion of the first processing container is disposed within the interior of the second processing container in a storage position.

  • Publication number: 20160209170
Abstract: Laser systems are provided. In one aspect a laser system has a battery unit and a transistor having a source and a drain in series with the laser and the battery unit with the laser with the transistor having a source, and a gate that allows sufficient current to flow to the laser to allow the laser to emit light when a voltage at the gate is at a higher level and that does not allow sufficient current to flow to allow the laser to emit light when a voltage at the gate is at a lower level. A microcontroller is operable in an active mode and a reduced power mode having an activation input connected to a switch, a reduced power input connected in parallel with the capacitor and an output connected to the gate.

  • Patent number: 8733239
Abstract: A food processor includes a base, a container having a side wall and an open end including a rim, and a lid for engaging the open end of the container in an operating position and a storage position. The lid has a top wall with a first and second principal surface, an annular ledge with a first and second side, and a food chute extending from the first principal surface generally parallel to a longitudinal axis of the top wall. The food chute has a length and extends away from the container with the second side of the annular ledge contacting the rim of the container when the lid is in the operating position. When the lid is in the storage position, the food chute extends into an interior of the container with the first side of the annular ledge contacting the rim of the container.
