  • Publication number: 20040217197
Abstract: An automated sprayer for spraying the walls of a shower enclosure with a liquid cleanser dispenses the cleanser using a pump and rotatable spray head. A motor drives the pump and rotates the spray head. The sprayer has a showerhead mountable housing with a hanger. The housing supports a bottle of cleanser in an inverted fashion. Cleanser is delivered from the bottle through a cleanser conduit in the piercing post into a well of the housing. The bottle is vented from the well through an air vent path in the piercing post or from a well vent outlet through the air vent path in the piercing post. An outlet valve in the well permits outflow of cleanser from the well. Various bottle caps and bottle closures are also provided to improve venting and/or limit cleanser leakage from the bottle when the bottle is installed in the housing.

  • Publication number: 20040050959
Abstract: An automated sprayer for spraying the walls of a shower enclosure with a liquid cleanser dispenses the cleanser using a pumping system and rotatable spray head. The sprayer has a showerhead mountable housing with an adjustable hanger. There is a portion of the housing for supporting a bottle of cleanser in an inverted fashion. The bottle is vented through a piercing post. A single motor both drives the pump and rotates the spray head.

  • Patent number: 6371110
Abstract: Apparatus and methods to automatically release a respirator device at least from a wearer's face. For a respirator mask, such apparatus includes a securement device, which fits around at least the rear side of a wearer's head, and one or more couplings which are configured to releasably secure the respirator mask with the securement device around the wearer's head. For a respirator hood, a neck dam is used as the securement device. Pressurized, breathable gas is supplied to the wearer through the respirator device and to the coupling(s) to secure the device to the wearer's head and, if and when pressure of the gas supplied to the device drops below a critical level, the pressure of the gas supplied to the actuator(s) also drops sufficiently for the actuator(s) to change states and allow the coupling(s) to separate, thereby releasing the device. Manual and/or remote release can also be provided.

  • Patent number: 5994841
Abstract: A circuit apparatus and method is disclosed for determining the actual beam current of a display device having at least one cathode and that actual beam current is used to both correctly bias a voltage that drives the display device and determine the actual drive voltage according to a desired beam current. At periodic intervals, according to the invention, a series of test voltages in known relation to one another are applied to the display device, and measured cathode currents corresponding to the applied voltages are stored in appropriate memory elements of an correction unit. If at least two of the test voltages is selected to result in a black level, and at least one of the test voltages is selected to result in a white level beam current then the correction unit can precisely determine actual beam current through application of a mathematical relationship between test voltage an measured beam current which takes into account a leakage current between a cathode and a first grid of the display device.

  • Patent number: 5050996
Abstract: A paint shaker apparatus utilizing a typically hand held pneumatic random orbital sanding tool (14) as motor and crankshaft. A base housing (10) is adapted to receive and support a pneumatic random orbital sanding tool (14) with the sanding pad removed. The base housing (10) is adapted to be supported on a supporting surface and further includes a container cradle assembly (62) to receive and support a container to be shaken. The container cradle assembly (62) provides a clamp mechanism for holding a container to be shaken and is secured to a main shaft (40) rotatably mounted on the base housing (10) for oscillation about a vertical axis. A crank arm (44) is attached to the main shaft (40) and is connected to the sanding pad spindle (60) by a connecting rod (48).
