Abstract: A colour printing system comprising a combination of at least four, and preferably six colouring materials, each of a different colour, wherein these colours are selected from (1) an orange-red; (2) a violet-red; (3) a violet-blue; (4) a green-blue; (5) a green-yellow; and (6) an orange-yellow; as well as white and black. This system may be incorporated into a wide range of printing devices and provides a means of achieving a wide range of colours.

Abstract: Systems and methods for optical communication that may be employed to couple together fiber optic arrays of two or more optical communication modules using parallel fiber optic connectors and physically distinct and signal-independent optical communication paths. The disclosed systems and methods may be employed to provide separate signal-independent communication paths having signal transport characteristics that meet standards required for single fiber single point-to-single point applications.

Abstract: A sub-pixel resolution system that overcomes these and other problems has a number of optical sensors. Each of the optical sensors has a field of view that overlaps a neighboring optical sensors field of view. A number of contrast enhancement circuits are coupled between each of the optical sensors. An induced current circuit is coupled to a group of the optical sensors.

Abstract: A strap tensioning device for anchoring a load to an anchor point, that includes a strap, a base member having a pair of arms, a handle rotatably connected to the base member, a mechanism operated by rotation of the handle for securing the strap to the base member under a tension, an anchor for anchoring the base member to the anchor point, and a tension indicating device connected to the base member. The tension indicating device includes a load member extending between the arms, and preferably a spring connected between the load member and the base member. The data are obtained substantially simultaneously and processed in parallel such that multiple objects can be distinguished from one another in real time.

The outboard seal includes an annular bulkhead in an outboard end of the cylinder tube around the rack bar, a metal retaining ring preventing dislodgment of the bulkhead from the cylinder tube by fluid pressure in the cylinder tube, and a seal ring adjacent an end wall of the bulkhead having an outer surface resiliently pressing against the cylinder tube and an inner lip biased against the rack bar by garter spring. A coupling between the seal ring and the bulkhead consists of an annular groove in a cylindrical shoulder on the bulkhead and a flexible lip on the seal ring stretched over the cylindrical shoulder and seated loosely in the annular groove.
