    Abstract: A method is disclosed of a transmitter configured to transmit a physical layer packet having a plurality of midambles. The method includes applying a respective phase shift for each midamble of the physical layer packet, and transmitting the physical layer packet. The respective phase shift is applied to at least a portion of symbols of the midamble. A method is also disclosed of a receiver configured to receive a physical layer packet having a plurality of midambles. The method includes receiving the physical layer packet, and counteracting a respective phase shift for each midamble of the physical layer packet. Counteracting the respective phase shift includes applying an opposite of the respective phase shift to at least a portion of symbols of the midamble or compensating the respective phase shift for at least a portion of symbols of the midamble. Corresponding apparatuses, and computer program product are also disclosed.

Based on a mapping of the user data to the resource units, the wireless transmitter (10, 11) modulates a symbol of the user data onto a first set of subcarriers of a first resource unit of the resource units and redundantly modulates the symbol onto a second set of subcarriers of a second resource unit of the resource units. The mapping of the user data to the resource units is based on possible puncturing patterns applied to the resource units.

    Abstract: A wireless device (11) configures a carrier for communication with a serving access point (10). The wireless device (11) maintains a virtual carrier sense timer. The virtual carrier sense timer indicates that the carrier is to be regarded as occupied as long as the virtual carrier sense timer is not expired. The wireless device (11) receives one or more wireless transmissions on the carrier. The one or more wireless transmissions each include: an identifier commonly assigned to multiple access points which cooperate by sharing a transmission opportunity, and a duration field for indicating a duration for which the carrier is expected to be occupied. In response to the identifier matching an identifier of the serving access point (11), the wireless device (11) updates the virtual carrier sense timer according to the indicated duration. Based on the virtual carrier sense timer, the wireless device (11) controls one or more UL wireless transmissions from the wireless device (11).

    Abstract: Embodiments include methods for a wireless communication device comprising a main receiver and a wake-up receiver (WUR) having a channel selective filter. Such methods include determining a correlation metric for the WUR, based on the following: a signal received via the WUR using the channel selective filter configured according to a first one of a plurality of available bandwidths, and a reference signal that is representative of a wake-up signal (WUS) transmitted by an access point node.
