Abstract: The connector for a card has a housing for accommodating a card provided with terminal members, and connecting terminals mounted in the housing and contacting the terminal members of the card. Here, at least one of the connecting terminals has a base portion provided along a rear edge of the housing, at least some of the base portion is embedded in a bottom wall portion of the housing, and a contact member forming a hoop along with the base portion. The contact member has a pair of spring portions connected to the base portion, a joining portion joining the pair of spring portions, and a contact portion connected to the leading end of the joining portion for contacting the terminal members of the card.

The slide member is able to slide forward and backward along one side edge of the bottom wall part of the housing. The housing contains a mistaken insertion prevention convex part which the front end or rear end of a mistakenly inserted card contacts.

Abstract: The Present Disclosure discloses a card tray including a top panel portion facing the opposite face of a card having terminal members on one face, a front panel portion standing erect at the front edge of the top panel portion and facing the front end of the card, and a rear panel portion standing erect at the rear edge of the top panel portion and facing the rear end of the card. The card tray further includes a notch portion formed in the front panel portion so as to expose at least a portion of the front end of the card, and a card holding spring portion disposed near the rear panel portion, biasing the card forward and applying pressure to the front end of the card in a portion other than the notch portion of the front panel portion. The card is grasped longitudinally to expose the entire face of the card on the terminal member side.
