  • Patent number: 6453803
Abstract: There is provided a soft ice cream in which even materials such as a strawberry easily changed in properties and containing an acid component can be used, and the unique flavor of the material other than a soft ice cream mix, such as strawberry jam and chocolate, can sufficiently be enjoyed. In the soft ice cream obtained by charging the cream flow of a cooled and semi-hardened soft ice cream mix discharged from a discharge nozzle into a cup so that the discharge shape is maintained as much as possible, the part formed of the strawberry jam is continuously disposed in the part formed of the soft ice cream mix along the cream flow charged into the cup.

  • Patent number: 6015994
Abstract: A semiconductor memory device and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed in which a reduction of the number of steps is made possible between the step of writing into ROM and the completion of the semiconductor memory device. In this semiconductor memory device, a high resistance polycrystalline silicon wiring region is provided at a portion of a source wiring connected to a source region of an MOS transistor. Accordingly, the MOS transistor can be turned OFF easily when a voltage of 3 V to 5 V is applied to that MOS transistor, without having to control its threshold voltage. In addition, if the manufacturing process for forming the high resistance wiring region in the source region is performed after the formation of a contact hole for an aluminum wiring for drains, the number of process steps is reduced between the step of writing into the ROM and completing the semiconductor memory device.

  • Patent number: 5732685
Abstract: An improved fuel supply system for a watercraft engine eases the setting of fuel supply pressure in each of the carburetors of the engine. The fuel supply system includes a fuel supply line which supplies fuel to a plurality of feed branches of the fuel circuit which are arranged in parallel. Each branch communicates with one of the carburetors. The branches have equal lengths such that the flow resistance within each branch is generally the same between the branches. The fuel supply system also includes a fuel return line which communicates with a plurality of return branches of the fuel circuit. The return branches are arranged in parallel, with each return branch communicating with one of the carburetors. The return branches also have equal lengths and are arranged to have like flow resistances. This structure of the fuel circuit between the carburetors tends to isolate the carburetors from one another such that the fuel pressure in one carburetor does not affect the fuel pressure in the other carburetors.

  • Patent number: 5144389
Abstract: An MIS FET has an off-set gate structure in which a gate electrode and a drain region. The drain region is formed of an n type impurity region of a high concentration and has a pn junction region provided between the drain region and the p type silicon substrate. Further, n type impurity regions of the low concentration are in contact with a part of a peripheral portion of the n type impurity regions of the high concentration. The n type impurity regions of the low concentration alleviate the concentration of the electric field near the drain region to increase the drain breakdown voltage. The pn junction region of the n type impurity region of the high concentration and the p type silicon substrate increases a junction capacitance of the entire drain region, increases a surge current discharged to the substrate side from the drain region for the surge breakdown to increase the surge withstanding amount.
