  • Publication number: 20100230196
Abstract: A vehicle including an energy stocking mechanism having an elastic member connected to the driving wheel of the vehicle so that power of the driving wheel is stocked as elastic force in the elastic member and the stocked elastic force is output as power to the driving wheel, and an output limiter that holds the energy stocking mechanism when the elastic force is stocked in the elastic member and releases the holding of the energy stocking mechanism to output the elastic force when the vehicle starts running. A power stocking source for stocking elastic force into the energy stocking mechanism is installed in the vehicle or a station at which the vehicle stops, and connected to the energy stocking mechanism so that power from the power stocking source is applied to the energy stocking mechanism and stocked as the elastic force in the energy stocking mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20080074689
Abstract: An image forming apparatus is provided with a processor, a storage unit for storing a program and data, a function unit for performing functional operations; and an interactive input/output unit. The storage unit includes first storage areas, second storage areas, and third storage areas, which are hierarchized. The program causes the processor to display specified information allotted to the first storage areas on the interactive input/output unit. If one first storage area is selected, information of the second storage areas related to the selected first storage area is displayed on the interactive input/output unit. If one second storage area is selected, information of files in the third storage areas included in the selected second storage area and the names of processes to be performed to the files are displayed on the interactive input/output unit. If the file and process are selected, the process is performed to this file.

  • Publication number: 20070177180
Abstract: The respective jobs of copying, printing, scanning, and faxing processed by an integrated application are unitarily divided into four job steps. A package of function modules 41A selectively used in the respective jobs is classified into four groups of input, create, edit, and output function modules 410 to 412 according to the division. A data format is unified into bitmap by a create function module 411A, and the bitmap data is processed by an edit function module 411B for pagination or aggregation, etc. In response to receiving setting information and a job code, a job controlling module 43A creates job step control blocks 440 to 442 and writes the information therein to create a job. Each of job step controlling (JSC) modules 450 to 452 starts a function module for each page, and after the completion thereof, creates a thread control block for the next downstream side JSC module.

  • Patent number: 5084500
Abstract: A vinylidene chloride resin comprising (A) 90 to 99% by weight of vinylidene chloride and 1 to 10% by weight of an acrylic or methacrylic monomer is mixed with (B) 0.5 to 5% by weight, based on the resin, of a low-molecular-weight or high-molecular-weight plasticizer and (C) 0.2 to 5% by weight, based on the resin, of a condensed phosphoric acid salt. Even if this resin composition is exposed to high temperatures, thermal decomposition of the vinyl chloride resin is prominently controlled. When this vinylidene chloride resin composition is laminated with a thermoplastic resin having a thermoforming temperature higher than the thermoforming temperature of the vinylidene chloride resin, a packaging resin laminate having an excellent gas-barrier property is obtained.

  • Patent number: 4992636
Abstract: A container body is sealed by means of a lid made of a flexible sheet having an insulative property and an antenna made of an electrically conductive material which is laminated upon the lid. According to this construction, when the container body is exposed to microwaves within a microwave oven, microwave energy is concentrated at a position near the front end of the antenna and the microwave energy is converted into heat energy, whereby the lid is opened by means of the thus converted heat. The lid can thus be precisely partially melted so as to form an opening of a predeterminedly suitable size.
