  • Patent number: 7363614
Abstract: Architecturally complicated computers require functionally complicated compiler. For such a compiler, the present invention provides an automatic compiler test program generation method capable of reducing the man-hour required to prepare a test program and testing many aspects of the compiler. By a random number-used method, a plurality of program cells are selected from a set of program cells each of which may form an element of a test program. The selected program cells are combined into a test program.

  • Publication number: 20070013781
Abstract: An electronic still camera which transmits taken images to a printer connected to the camera to print the images is provided with a microcomputer for generating image data for printing and communicating with the printer. When start of printing is directed, the microcomputer obtains information on characteristics of the printer from the printer, generates image data whose number of pixels differs between when the printing density is a predetermined value or more and when it is less than the predetermined value, and transmits the image data to the printer. A connector is provided for attaching a cable of the printer to the electronic still camera, and a switch for detecting whether the cable is attached or not is provided in the connector. When the cable is attached to the connector, only transmitting images to the printer to print the images is permitted even if taking of images or reproduction display is directed by a manual operation.

  • Patent number: 6570614
Abstract: An electronic still camera in which taken images are recorded onto a memory card has an LCD for image display, a RAM for image storage and a switch for image selection. Photographing is started before a direction to start recording is provided by the user. Photographing is continued even after the direction is provided and a predetermined number of images taken over a period spanning before and after the direction to start recording is provided are stored in the RAM. The images stored in the RAM are successively displayed on the LCD and the images which the user determines to be necessary and specifies by operating the switch are recorded onto the memory card.

  • Patent number: 5819122
Abstract: When CPU 2 is in the standby state, switch S4 is turned OFF such that switch S1 is not connected to condenser C1 and the signals from switch S1 are pulled up by means of resistor R2. When CPU 2 becomes activated through the detection of a change in the state of switch S1, switches S3, S4 and S5 are turned ON to connect condenser C1 and resistor R1 to switch S1 and to connect resistor R3 to switch S2. Through this construction, the chattering in switches S1 and S2 may be eliminated, and CPU 2, which is in a standby state, may be activated based on signals from switch S1.

  • Patent number: 5799215
Abstract: A camera system comprises a brightness measuring circuit, a exposure line choosing circuit, an operable switch, a film driver and a film driving mode selector. The brightness measuring circuit measures brightness of a photographic scene to send a brightness value. The exposure line choosing circuit chooses one of a plurality of exposure lines in which each lines selects a combination of an aperture value and a shutter speed value at each brightness value. The film driver drives a film in either of a first mode in which the film is wound only one frame in response to the operation of the operable switch and a second mode in which the film is wound frame by frame continuously as long as the operable member is operated. The film driving mode selector selects one of the modes in accordance with the exposure line chosen by the choosing circuit.
