  • Patent number: 5504690
Abstract: An automatic logic designing method and system in which a control table describing a condition and a behavior corresponding to the condition which express the specification of a computer is inputted and processed in a processor so that a logic circuit having no redundancy which can be easily seen by the designer is designed at a high speed. The control table is converted into the logic circuit whose function is expressed by a detailed Boolean expression. In an instance, selector logics are allocated in consideration of the polarity of the logic. A redundancy detection process or a redundancy logic elimination process is executed for the redundancy logics designated by a redundancy indicate file. A signal name which can be easily understood by the logic designer is formed.

  • Patent number: 5504552
Abstract: A camera system comprises a brightness measuring circuit, a exposure line choosing circuit, an operable switch, a film driver and a film driving mode selector. The brightness measuring circuit measures brightness of a photographic scene to send a brightness value. The exposure line choosing circuit chooses one of a plurality of exposure lines in which each lines selects a combination of an aperture value and a shutter speed value at each brightness value. The film driver drives a film in either of a first mode in which the film is wound only one frame in response to the operation of the operable switch and a second mode in which the film is wound frame by frame continuously as long as the operable member is operated. The film driving mode selector selects one of the modes in accordance with the exposure line chosen by the choosing circuit.

  • Patent number: 5287289
Abstract: A logic circuit the functions of which have been expressed by a Boolean expression is subdivided, and then each of the subdivided logic circuit portions corresponds to each of the Boolean expressions. A plurality of logic circuits whose functions are equal to each other, whose delay times and gate numbers are different from each other, are synthesized every subdivided circuit portions, and a restriction condition formula is formed by employing the synthesized logic circuit under a restriction condition of the delay time designated by a user. While a linear programming is applied under the restriction condition and the number of gates is used as an objective function, such a logic circuit that the objective function takes a stationary value (a minimum value in the present invention) is selected with respect to each of subdivided portions, whereby an overall logic circuit is constructed.

  • Patent number: 5235379
Abstract: A camera system comprises a selector, an operable switch, a changing circuit and an inhibiting circuit. The selector selects one of a plurality of exposure lines. The changing circuit change as combination of the aperture value and the shutter speed value determine by both the selected exposure line and a brightness value in response to the operation of the operable switch. The inhibiting circuit inhibits the operation of changing circuit when a predetermined exposure line is selected by the selector. In the camera system, a photographer may only select the exposure mode through the operable switch in accordance with his intention and purpose in photography, and then the change of the exposure combination is inhibited in a certain exposure mode.

  • Patent number: 5223884
Abstract: A camera includes an object distance detecting device. The detected object distance can be used to calculate magnification which, in turn, can be used to determine an aperture value. The object distance detecting device can be selectively operated depending on, for example, whether flash lighting is being used.

  • Patent number: 5159384
Abstract: A camera exposure control system based on multi-spot light measurement is designed to determine the exposure value from measured values provided by measuring the brightness of arbitrary portions of the photographic view field a plurality of number of times. With exposure control mode based on multi-spot light measurement being selected by the photographer, exposure control is implemented based on the exposure value resulting from multi-spot light measurement, and the operation of the flash device is disabled automatically. With flash light photography mode being selected by the photographer, exposure control based on multi-spot light measurement is disabled, and exposure control based on averaged light measurement or exposure control for flash light photography is implemented.

  • Patent number: 5130737
Abstract: A bracket photographing apparatus for a camera system using a flash light unit. In a flash bracket photographing, a series of photographs (frames) are taken with the film exposure differing between the frames, where the exposure difference is caused by a change in the light emitting amount of the flash light unit. The invention also considers the case where a flash light unit is not attached to the camera body, or is not controllable by the system (e.g., the attached flash light unit is not a controllable type).

  • Patent number: 4994844
Abstract: An camera system includes a body and an accessory which is attachable to the camera body. A controller is provided in the camera body for controlling camera function. And an operable switch is also provided in the camera body. A function data concerning with camera function is sent from the accessory to the camera body. The camera body receives the function data and determines in response to the operation of the operable switch whether or not the controller controls camera function based on the received function data. According to the camera system, it is possible to enable or disable the camera function depending on the accessory by simple operation with the accessory attached to the camera body.

  • Patent number: 4937601
Abstract: A winding and rewinding apparatus for a camera comprises a winding mechanism, a detector, a rewinding mechanism, a selector and a controller. The winding mechanism winds the film frame by frame, and the detector detects the completion of exposure of the roll of film which is wound by the winding mechanism. The rewinding mechanism rewinds the film automatically in response to the detection of the detecting means. The selector includes a selecting switch which is operable manually, for selecting in response to the operation of the selecting switch one of a first mode in which the operation of the rewinding mechanism is permitted and a second mode in which the operation of the rewinding mechanism is inhibited irrespective of the detection of the detector. The controller controls the rewinding mechanism in accordance with the mode selected by the selecting switch. According to such arrangement, the user can select a manual rewinding mode or an automatic rewinding mode by a simple operation.
