    Abstract: A PTC composition comprising at least one polymer, from 5% to 45% by volume of electrically conductive or semiconductive particles having a room temperature electric conductivity of at least 10.sup.2 [s/m] dispersed in said polymer, and from 0.2% to 20% by volume of thermally conductive particles having a room temperature electric conductivity of no more than 10.sup.-3 [s/m] and a thermal conductivity of at least 20 [w/m.multidot.k] dispersed in said polymer. A PTC device using such a PTC composition has a high ratio of peak resistance to room temperature resistance, and exhibits high safety.

    Abstract: Heavy duty pneumatic tires having lug grooves at a tire tread surface are disclosed, wherein a width of a tread portion from a tire equator to one of tread edges which tread portion is to be located on a wheel-mounted outer side is larger than that of the other tread portion from the equator to the other tread edge. When contours of the tread portions located on the opposite sides of the tire equator are approximated by two respective circular arcs, the radius of curvature of the wider tread portion is larger than that of the narrower tread portion. A depth of grooves at the shoulder portion on the wider tread portion which depth is expressed by a distance between the tread edge and the bottom of the lug grooves is made smaller than that of the narrower tread portion.

    Abstract: Lead frame for mounting a semiconductor chip and improving the packing density of devices such as a plastic chip carrier type IC is disclosed. A portion of inner leads, located parallel to the chip stage and the edge of a molded case is made as thin as possible and held by inner lead supporting bars to tie bars until the molding process is finished. After molding process is finished, these bars supporting the leads and stage are cut away. Packing density is improved an amount ranging from 20% to 30%.

In the tire of this type, the ends of the carcass plies turned-back around the bead rings except the axial innermost bead ring are positioned in the outside of the region "C" between the planes "A" and "B" in each of sidewall portions of the tire.

    Abstract: A magnetic recording apparatus for recording two kinds of mutually different information signals on independent tracks of a magnetic tape comprises first through fourth rotary magnetic heads. The third and fourth heads are mounted on a rotary body at positions respectively in vicinities of the first and second heads along a rotating direction of the rotary body. The height positions of the third and fourth heads on the rotary body are different from the height positions of the first and second head. An extremely narrow guard band or no guard band is formed between two adjacent tracks recorded with the same kind of information signal. On the other hand, a wide guard band is formed between two adjacent tracks recorded with different kinds of information signals.

    Abstract: A magnetic tape recording and reproducing apparatus includes a rotatable head drum having heads and inclined with respect to a reference plane, and a pair of movable guide poles movably located in first positions respectively upstream and downstream of the head drum in a direction of travel of a magnetic tape, for guiding the magnetic tape to be wrapped helically around the head drum in a wrapping range along a tape path inclined with respect to the reference plane to allow each of the heads to scan the magnetic tape along a scanning locus to form thereon a track inclined with respect to a longitudinal direction of the magnetic tape in a recording mode at a normal speed. In a fast-forward or fast-reverse playback mode, one of the tape guide poles is displaced along the reference plane and locked in a second position other than the first positions to change the wrapping range of the magnetic tape.

    Abstract: A large size pneumatic rubber tire for bad or rough roads comprises a number of main grooves in a tread of the tire arranged on both sides of a center circumferential line of the tread and in parallel with one another substantially equally oblique to the center circumferential line and a number of auxiliary grooves in the tread substantially in parallel with one another oblique in a direction opposite to the direction of the main grooves to connect the two main grooves adjacent in a circumferential direction. The main and auxiliary grooves have comparatively wide groove widths, respectively, and divide the tread into a center zone and two size zones. These zones respectively consist of circumferentially arranged respectively substantially same shaped center blocks and side blocks defined by the main and auxiliary grooves.

The improved tire makes use of a steel cord breaker, but can prevent mechanical and thermal separations in the tire. Breaker rubberized cords are designed to have a gap ratio given by ##EQU1## preferably 0.72 to 0.80, for the purpose of restraining the mechanical separation, where D is a distance between centers of two adjacent cords and d is a diameter of the cord.
