The bale wrapper comprises a supply device, extending along the width of a bale chamber of a round baler, for the introduction of wrapping material. The supply device comprises a shielding layer, located on its upper side, for the upper-side shielding of a free end of the wrapping material, to be introduced into the bale chamber. In order to improve the supply operation of wrapping material into the bale chamber, the shielding layer comprises several shielding lips, located parallel to one another along the width of the bale chamber, which extend in the direction of an interior of the bale chamber.

Abstract: A web wrap apparatus is provided having a separator with a separating edge and a feeder transporting web to a bale chamber. In order to keep the separating edge free of dirt, web fibers, etc. a stripper is connected to the feeder, which during a relative movement with respect to the separator strips along the separating edge and removes any particles sticking thereto.

Abstract: A round baler includes a bale chamber in which a round bale can be produced, and a wrapping device with which a completely pressed round bale can be wrapped with a first film in the bale chamber, and a feed device for introducing the first film into the bale chamber. The round baler also includes a feed point at which the first film can be fed to the bale chamber, and an ultrasonic sensor which is arranged at the bale chamber. The ultrasonic sensor is arranged at the bale chamber in such a way that with the ultrasonic sensor it is possible to determine whether the film is present on a surface of the round bale.

The ultrasonic sensor is arranged at the bale chamber in such a way that with the ultrasonic sensor it is possible to determine whether the first plastic film is present on a surface of the round bale. The invention also relates to a detection method for detecting a first plastic film on a surface of a round bale.

Abstract: An agricultural roundbaler includes a housing having a housing part, an ejection flap pivotably mounted on the housing part about a bearing axis, and drivable pressing apparatus arranged on the housing part and the ejection flap. The pressing apparatus define a bale pressing chamber on a peripheral side thereof. A control device operably pivots the ejection flap such that an ejection opening is formed between the housing part and the ejection flap. During an unloading process, the ejection flap is adjustably pivoted by the control device from an unloading position in which the fully pressed round bale is unloaded through the ejection opening to a retained position in which the unloaded round bale is retained by the ejection flap. The ejection flap is pivotable from the retained position to a relieved position in which the retained round bale is released by the ejection flap to eject from the pressing chamber.

In order to facilitate the replacement of the supply reel and more particularly the pivoting of the pressing device out from an engagement position into a standby position, an adjusting means may be provided through which the contact point can be shifted and thus the controlling torque can be altered.
