  • Patent number: 9706717
Abstract: A round baler is provided with a bale-forming chamber and boundary apparatus of the bale-forming chamber that can be moved into an open position for ejecting a completed bale. The boundary apparatus includes a pivoting part rotatable between a first position, a second position and a third position. The axial dimensions of the bale-forming chamber can be changed by at least one side wall that can be moved by an adjustment drive. The adjustment drive is configured such that the axial dimensions of the bale-forming chamber increases when the pivoting part rotates to the second position and then reduces when the pivoting part rotates to the third position.

  • Publication number: 20160366831
Abstract: A round baler is provided with a bale-forming chamber and boundary apparatus of the bale-forming chamber that can be moved into an open position for ejecting a completed bale. The axial dimensions of the bale-forming chamber can be changed by at least one side wall that can be moved by means of an adjustment drive. The adjustment drive is configured such that the axial dimensions of the bale-forming chamber are initially increased during the ejection of the bale relative to the dimensions provided for generating the bale and then reduced again for braking the bale.

  • Patent number: 9474212
Abstract: A web wrap device is provided for a round baler. The device has a web carrier for pulling the web from a roll of web to a bale chamber. In a leading portion the web carrier has two elements at least one of which being moveable towards the other. The moveable element has a leading edge, which engages the web and is pulled by the tensioned web onto the other element, which increases the clamping effect. In addition a guard is provided to cover a knife during the wrapping mode, but to expose the knife to the web, when it should be cut.

  • Publication number: 20160037725
Abstract: A bale wrapping device is described for a round baler. The bale wrapping device may include a supply reel for the wrapping material and a pressing device wherein the pressing device in an engagement position stands in engagement with the supply reel and for a standby position can be pivoted away from the supply reel, wherein the pressing device is connected at a contact point positioned on the pressing device to power means which generate via the contact point a controlling torque which acts on the pressing device. In order to facilitate the replacement of the supply reel and more particularly the pivoting of the pressing device out from an engagement position into a standby position, an adjusting means may be provided through which the contact point can be shifted and thus the controlling torque can be altered.

  • Publication number: 20160000014
Abstract: A baling roller for a round agricultural baler and a round baler with such a baling roller are proposed. The baling roller comprises a roller body with a jacket surface, which encloses the circumference and the length of the roller body. Furthermore, radially extending elevations are located, on the jacket surface, over the circumference and the length of the roller body. In order to optimize the pressing effect of the baling roller, the proposal is made that the elevations on the jacket surface have a greater radial extension on the end areas of the roller body than in an area of the roller body, lying between the end areas.

  • Publication number: 20150305244
Abstract: A bale wrapper and a round baler with such a device are described. The bale wrapper comprises a supply device, extending along the width of a bale chamber of a round baler, for the introduction of wrapping material. The supply device comprises a shielding layer, located on its upper side, for the upper-side shielding of a free end of the wrapping material, to be introduced into the bale chamber. In order to improve the supply operation of wrapping material into the bale chamber, the shielding layer comprises several shielding lips, located parallel to one another along the width of the bale chamber, which extend in the direction of an interior of the bale chamber.

  • Patent number: 8991309
Abstract: A round baler is provided having a frame, a baling chamber on the frame for forming a round bale, an unloading area provided between the baling chamber and a ground surface and at least one depositing element which is arranged in the unloading area and which extends parallel to the rotational axis of the round bale and serves for supporting the round bale during an unloading operation. To reduce mechanical stress on the round bale caused by the depositing element and as a result to prevent damage to the round bale, a flat section is provided which, compared to the rollers otherwise usually used as depositing element, provides a higher contact surface for the round bale such that the surface pressure during the impact of the round bale can be decisively reduced compared to the use of a roller.
