  • Publication number: 20100282415
Abstract: Device for manufacturing a reinforcement from a thread laid directly in its final place by casting lengths of the said thread onto a receiving surface, the said device comprising a feed means (200) for feeding the thread (1) from a source of thread (10), a rotary assembly comprising a rotary guide (2) of axis rr? fixed to a hollow shaft (20, 205) constituting the axis of rotation (RR?) of the said guide (2) so that the outer radial end (21) of the said guide (2) is directed substantially radially with respect to the axis of rotation of the hollow shaft (RR?), the said guide receiving the thread (1) that comes from the said feed means via its central end (22) that is the opposite end to the said outer radial end (21), the said thread leaving via the said outer radial end (21), the said feed means controlling the linear speed at which the thread advances inside the said rotary guide (2), means (13, 131) for rotating the hollow shaft, and means (31) for cutting the thread, acting on the thread in such a way as t

  • Patent number: 7802383
Abstract: A hitched grooming device having a tapered frame. a pivot allows for device to create a trail that is kept horizontal no matter the inclination of the terrain. Another pivot allows a compactor to rotate so that it can keep the trail as uniform as possible by keeping the compactor horizontal.

  • Patent number: 7799159
Abstract: The manufacturing device comprises a rotary distributor 6 in rotation about a rotation axis R, the rotary distributor comprising at least one elbowed tube 61, the elbowed tube having a corridor for receiving the wire on the radially internal side and forming output guidance on the externally radial side. The device comprises a member for conveying to the distributor comprising a tubular portion 53 substantially perpendicular to the rotation axis R, a space in the radial direction being provided between the tubular portion 53 and the elbowed tube 61. A knife 7 is disposed in the space between the rotary distributor and the conveying member. The conveying member and the distributor are coupled and both rotary, the knife 7 being mounted on a knife holder 70 for purposes of adjustment and whose rotation is locked during cutting.

  • Publication number: 20080277046
Abstract: Device for manufacturing a reinforcement from a thread laid directly in its final position by spraying lengths of the thread onto a receiving surface. The thread lengths are delivered from a conduit to a guide as the conduit rotates about an axis. The guide includes deflectors forming therebetween a slot having a thread inlet orifice and a thread spray (discharge) orifice spaced apart along the guide's height. The separation between the deflectors narrows toward the spray orifice, wherein the deflectors form therebetween an angle in the range of 3° and 7° when measured at any point along the height of the slot.

  • Patent number: 4588247
Abstract: The invention relates to improvements to electric connectors particularly intended to be used in a liquid medium. Both elements (A,B) of the connector comprise respectively insulating bodies (8,20) carrying the contacts (9,21) and surrounded, in their front parts, by sleeves (14,24); two ring seals (25,26) are brought on those sleeves on either side of the interface (15,22) of the two insulating bodies and insulate said insulating bodies from the surrounding liquid.
