  • Patent number: 10359239
Abstract: A heat exchanger is disclosed. The heat exchanger includes a heat exchange member that includes a first extruded member having a first end and a second end. The first extruded member forms a plurality of fluid passages that are in fluid communication with the first end of the first extruded member and the second end of the first extruded member. At least one of the fluid passages is an inlet fluid passage and at least one of the fluid passages is an outlet fluid passage. A plug is fixedly coupled to the second end of the first extruded member. The plug forms a plug fluid passage that fluidically interconnects the inlet fluid passage at the second end of the first extruded member with the outlet fluid passage at the second end of the first extruded member.

  • Patent number: 10323541
Abstract: A housing for retention of the outer race of a bearing of a gas turbine engine includes an arrangement of spring fingers that yields a lightweight housing capable of withstanding very high radial loads combined with very high torsional windup and axial thrust load. Controlled circumferential gaps on both sides of each spring finger limit the deflection and self-arrest the distortion of the housing. The spring fingers define at least one side edge that extends at an angle relative to the axial direction. An axial gap is created on the aft end by a portion of the spring finger beam structure that opposes an axial face of the housing and limits the axial distortion. A radial gap created between interface hardware of the housing and the inner retention housing also acts to retain the spring finger housing under load in a radial direction.

  • Publication number: 20190162541
Abstract: Exemplary methods and systems provide for production of geographically located, accurate indoor maps of physical spaces and provide navigation guidance for users in physical spaces, and process requests for users related to available physical space within said physical spaces. Aggregated information about the physical spaces is curated and converted using automated procedures into a data model that contains all elements of said physical spaces, including geographic data about the physical space's location on the globe. The system and computer program embodiments retrieve the converted data, load it on mobile devices or computers, rendering it on these devices in the correct global geographic context, allowing users to interact with the data to select rooms, and send and receive requests to and from external systems regarding these selections. Users navigate within the physical spaces using mobile devices and the computer program embodiments in tandem to provide accurate directions and guidance.

  • Publication number: 20190149812
Abstract: A method for determining a diagnostic condition of a vehicular video connection includes providing a video driver, a video cable, a video driver power supply, a current sensor and a microcontroller. The video driver is powered via the video driver power supply. Current flowing to the video driver from the video driver power supply is sensed via the current sensor. The microcontroller determines a current level sensed by the current sensor during operation of the video driver. An open circuit condition may be determined when the determined current level of the current flowing into the video driver falls below a predetermined quantity, and/or a short to battery condition may be determined when the determined current level of the current flowing into the video driver exceeds a predetermined quantity.

  • Publication number: 20190054918
Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes a camera, a distance sensor and a controller having at least one processor, where image data captured by the camera and sensor data captured by the distance sensor are processed at the controller. The controller, responsive to processing of captured image data and of captured sensor data, detects an object. The controller determines the distance to the detected object based at least in part on difference between the positions of the detected object in captured image data and in captured sensor data. The controller, responsive to processing of captured image data and of captured sensor data, and responsive to the determined distance to the detected object, determines that the detected object represents a collision risk. The controller informs a driver of the vehicle of the collision risk and/or controls the vehicle to mitigate the collision risk.
