Abstract: A product-display system for displaying and securing a retail product. The system may include a retainer having a retainer bracket and a retainer body coupled to the retainer bracket. A retaining cable may be coupled to the retainer body at an opening in the retainer body. A fastener that may be unfastened to release the product from the retainer may only be accessed through the opening of the retainer body such that when the retaining cable is coupled to the opening, no fasteners of the retainer may be visible or accessible. The system may also include a display stem for holding the retainer and product. The display stem may include a recess for receiving at least a portion of the retainer body. The retaining cable may extend through the display stem and may simultaneously transmit power and data to a displayed product. The retainer may be returned to and held on top of the display stem using a retaining cable.

Abstract: A medical tube transports gases to and/or from a patient. The medical tube includes a bead wrapped around a longitudinal axis of the medical tube. The bead forms a first portion of a lumen wall of the medical tube. The medical tube also includes a film wrapped around the longitudinal axis of the medical tube. A first portion of the film overlies the bead, and a second portion of the film forms a second portion of the lumen wall. The lumen wall, formed by the bead and the second portion of the film forms a substantially smooth bore. The medical tube can be reusable or reprocessable.

The controller, which includes processing resources, is configured to determine a current utilization of one or more of the processing resources and to determine which of a plurality of video analytics algorithms should be executed based at least in part on the determined current utilization of the one or more processing resources. The controller is configured to execute two or more of the plurality of video analytics algorithms on the video stream to identify one or more events in the video stream, wherein the controller executes the two or more of the plurality of video analytics algorithms, and sends an alert in response to identifying one or more events in the video stream.

The device may also include a structure having at least one surface configured to provide heat to a user, where the structure has at least one air inlet coupled to the at least one air outlet of the heat exchanger, and at least one air outlet coupled to the at least one air inlet of the air receptacle. The device may be configured such that when a combustible material is placed in the device, the device heats air within the air receptacle and the heated air travels through the chimney, heating the air within the heat exchanger, circulating the air from the heat exchanger into the structure, and back into the air receptacle.

Abstract: The present specification describes a medicine dispensing system for automatically dispensing medication at a predetermined time. The system includes a cartridge that carries a strip of medicine pouches. When the cartridge is dropped into a dispensing unit, it automatically aligns with the dispensing unit without requiring any installation work from the user. The automatic alignment is enabled because of self-aligning features manufactured in the cartridge housing.

In an example, a battery monitor circuit can be evaluated by providing a first test signal to a battery voltage measurement circuit that is coupled to a battery. A first analog-to-digital converter (ADC) circuit can be configured to receive a first voltage signal from the battery voltage measurement circuit in response to the first test signal. A processor circuit can be configured to validate the first ADC circuit by evaluating a correspondence between the first test signal and the received first voltage signal. One or more other ADC circuits in the battery monitor circuit can be validated by cross-checking measurement results with information from the first ADC circuit.
