  • Publication number: 20060175432
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing a controlled pattern of liquid material, such as hot melt adhesive, includes a pump, a liquid applicator coupled to the pump, a pressure transducer located in the liquid path between the applicator and the pump and a controller coupled with the pressure transducer. The pump supplies liquid to the liquid applicator at a variable pressure. The pressure transducer detects the pressure of the liquid and produces a signal indicating a sensed pressure. The controller receives the signal and changes the pressure of the process air discharging from the applicator based on the received signal.

  • Publication number: 20060078008
Abstract: A signaling network node is configured for identifying a received signaling message as belonging to one of a plurality of prescribed originating node groups, based on prescribed message class selection criteria. Each originating node group has at least one originating node and is assigned at least one congestion threshold relative to a message rate (e.g., messages per unit time or number of bytes per unit time). The signaling network node determines the message rate for each corresponding originating node group; if the message rate for an originating node group exceeds the corresponding at least one congestion threshold, the signaling network node outputs a congestion signaling message to the originating node having sent the signaling message, for reduction of the corresponding message rate.

  • Publication number: 20060070341
Abstract: A unitized fibrous construct for providing reinforcement to castable structures, such as cementitious structures is claimed. The construct includes a bundle of reinforcing fibers or filaments that are held in place prior to addition to the cementitious mixture by a retaining element. The retaining element is of such a composition that upon release into the cementitious mixture it provides reinforcing capability to the cement structure. As such, the construct adds additional reinforcing capability and diminishes the likelihood of detrimental side-effects attributed to retaining elements that otherwise dissolve or disperse in the cementitious mixture.

  • Publication number: 20050126968
Abstract: An oil filtration system includes three separate tanks. A first of these tanks is to receive oil from a wheel motor of the mining or construction vehicle. A second of these tanks is to receive the oil from the first tank after the oil in the first tank has been sufficiently heated so as to remove moisture therefrom. And, a third of these tanks is to receive the oil from the second tank after the oil has been sufficiently filtered so as to remove particles and debris therefrom. The third tank can hold the filtered oil therein until it is ready to be supplied back to the wheel motor.

  • Publication number: 20050087457
Abstract: The present invention relates to a package that includes an enclosure having a first substance and a second substance within the enclosure. The package further includes a plastic zipper which segregates the first substance from the second substance within the enclosure such that opening the plastic zipper allows the first substance and the second substance to be mixed together inside the enclosure. In another aspect, the package includes a gas-permeable enclosure and first and second solid substances stored within the enclosure. A mechanism, such as a plastic zipper, segregates the first and second solid substances. Opening the mechanism allows a user to mix the first and second solid substances inside the enclosure to produce a gas. The package permits the gas that is produced to permeate through the gas-permeable enclosure for distribution throughout an area.
