  • Publication number: 20220276060
Abstract: Among other things, we describe techniques for automatic annotation of environmental features in a map during navigation of a vehicle. The techniques include receiving, by the vehicle located within an environment, a map of the environment. Sensors of the vehicle receive sensor data and semantic data. The sensor data includes a plurality of features of the environment. A geometric model of a feature of the plurality of features is generated. The feature is associated with a drivable area within the environment. A drivable segment is extracted from the drivable area. The drivable segment is segregated into a plurality of geometric blocks, wherein each geometric block corresponds to a characteristic of the drivable area and the geometric model of the feature includes the plurality of geometric blocks. The geometric model is annotated using the semantic data. The annotated geometric model is embedded within the map.

Abstract: A method and system provide for computer aided drawing (CAD) automation. A CAD drawing in a first format that is native to a CAD application is obtained. Markup for the CAD drawing that is in a second non-native format is acquired. A machine learning engine processes the markup using a machine learning model, to identify a markup type, identify markup properties, correlate, the markup to a CAD object needed to update the CAD drawing, and determine, CAD object properties and CAD application properties. The CAD object with the CAD object properties is provided in the CAD application using the CAD application properties. User input is accepted and the CAD drawing is updated based thereon. • Publication number: 20220126014
Abstract: A device for wound irrigation and debridement includes a body extending along a longitudinal axis. The body comprises an interior region and an opening such that that the interior region and the first opening are configured to transfer an irrigation fluid. The body comprises a compliant region having a first stiffness and a debridement region having a different second stiffness. The compliant region defines a distal surface. In a first configuration, the compliant region defines a first axial dimension, the distal surface engages a target body region, and the debridement region is axially offset from the distal surface and disengaged from the target body region. In a second configuration, the compliant region is compressed to define a second axial dimension less than the first axial dimension, thereby engaging the debridement region with the target body region, and the distal surface engages the target body region.

  • Patent number: 11313673
Abstract: A method of making a component with an integral strain indicator includes forming the component from a first material, where the component has an outer surface and an internal volume; and directly depositing a plurality of fiducial markers on a portion of the outer surface. The fiducial markers are formed from a second material that is compatible with the first material, and the portion of the outer surface defines an analysis region on the outer surface of the component. The analysis region defines a gage length, and each fiducial marker of the plurality of fiducial markers has a maximum diameter of between one-tenth and one-twentieth of the gage length. Periodic measurement of the fiducial marker positions is performed to monitor component strain.

  • Patent number: 11292220
Abstract: A rework press assembly for reworking a dimensionally non-conformant component is provided. The rework press assembly includes a frame, a die coupled to the frame and configured to contact a first portion of the component, and a ram. The ram is coupled to the frame opposite the die with respect to an axis of the rework press assembly and is configured to contact a second portion of the component. The ram and the die define a component cavity therebetween. At least one of the die and the ram has a first length, relative to the axis, in response to the rework press assembly being at a first thermal condition. The at least one of the die and the ram has a second length, relative to the axis, in response to the rework press assembly being at a second thermal condition, and the second length is greater than the first length.
