  • Patent number: 4122546
Abstract: A MOS storage module has MOS transistor storage cells disposed between word and bit lines. A weighting network is symmetrically connected in each pair of bit lines for evaluating read signals. The weighting networks are arranged in a column with the storage cells which are connected to first inputs of the weighting networks form a first storage cell field and the storage cells which are connected to second inputs of the weighting networks form a second storage cell field and all storage cell fields on the storage module are disposed on one side of the column of weighting networks.

  • Patent number: 4113308
Abstract: A seat has a seat element and a back element which is to be tiltable forwardly and rearwardly relative to the seat element. Two hinges are provided at the opposite sides of the seat and each includes a first hinge member on the seat element and a cooperating second hinge member on the back element. Each hinge has an arrangement which connects the first and second hinge members thereof for relative pivoting and which includes a first gear turnable with one of the hinge members and a second gear turnable with the other hinge member, the two gears having cooperating annuli of gear teeth which mesh with one another. One of the gears can be disengaged from its associated hinge member so that the latter can turn freely relative to this gear. The arrangement for this purpose includes a first abutment system which normally connects the gear to the associated hinge member, and a second abutment system which also normally connects the gear to the associated hinge member.

  • Patent number: 4109270
Abstract: A semiconductor store is disclosed comprising a semiconductor substrate of a highly doped semiconductor material of one conductivity type, an epitaxial layer on one surface of said substrate of the same conductivity type and of low doping, a buried layer lying partly in said substrate and partly in said epitaxial layer, said buried layer being of the opposite conductivity type and of high doping, a highly doped second layer of the same conductivity type as said buried layer in the outer surface of said epitaxial layer, a V-shape groove extending through said second layer, said epitaxial layer and said buried layer and penetrating into said substrate, an insulating layer covering said epitaxial layer and the walls of said V-shape groove, and a layer of conductive material covering said insulating layer, whereby a two-cell semiconductor store is provided.

  • Patent number: 4104735
Abstract: A system is disclosed for addressing a MOS store containing MOS transistor storage cells. Address signals are amplified, inverted and intermediately stored. Negated and non-negated address signals are fed to a decoder circuit connected by drive lines to the storage cells. The decoder circuit selects a drive line depending upon the prevailing address signals. The decoder circuit is provided as a preliminary decoder circuit and a post decoder circuit. The preliminary decoder circuit has a plurality of stages wherein each stage is supplied with address signals in negated and non-negated form. Output lines of the preliminary decoder stages are connected to the post decoder circuit. Drive lines connect the storage cells to the post decoder circuit. Logic linking elements are provided in the post decoder circuit for logic linking these drive lines to the output lines of the preliminary decoder stages.

  • Patent number: 4099162
Abstract: A decoder circuit is disclosed for use with a storage module having storage cells constructed from MOS transistors arranged between word lines and bit lines. In order to select one of the word lines or bit lines, control inputs of the decoder transistors are fed with n address signals in negated or non-negated form and a decoder output signal is emitted on a decoder output line which connects the one terminals of the controlled paths of the decoder transistors. In the decoder, n-1 decoder transistors are arranged with their controlled paths in parallel and a further decoder transistor is provided whose control input is supplied with an address signal in negated form and whose controlled path is arranged between a connection line which connects the one ends of the controlled paths of the n-1 decoder transistors and an operating voltage.

  • Patent number: 4098135
Abstract: A free wheel drive arrangement for a turnable member, especially for adjusting the position of backrests or window panes in automotive vehicles, includes a carrier arm tiltable about the axis of a circular adjusting member and a driving arm eccentrically mounted on the carrier arm for tilting movement with respect thereto between an active position, engaging the turnable member to turn the latter about its axis during turning of the driving arm with said carrier arm in one direction, and a free wheeling position, in which the driving arm is disengaged from the turnable member during turning of the driving arm with the carrier arm in a direction opposite to the one direction. Cooperating abutment means on the driving arm and the carrier arm maintain the driving arm in the free wheeling position during turning of the driving arm with the carrier arm in this opposite direction.

  • Patent number: 4025109
Abstract: A first mounting member can be secured to a backrest member of a seat, such as a seat of an automotive vehicle, and a second mounting member can similarly be secured to the seat member of the seat. A ring gear is provided on one of the mounting members and has inwardly directed teeth, and the other mounting member has a spur gear received within the ring gear and having outwardly directed teeth which mesh with play with the inwardly directed teeth. The spur gear has an outer diameter smaller than the root diameter of the ring gear by at least the height of one tooth and the number of inwardly directed teeth is different from the number of outwardly directed teeth by at least one. An eccentric arrangement is provided, extending through the gears and being movable to and from a position in which it effects relative radial displacement of the gears to such an extent as to eliminate the aforementioned play.

  • Patent number: 3999489
Abstract: The sliding wall includes a central wall section and two end wall sections, with the sections being co-planar in the closed state and movable, transversely of the car, out of the closing plane and into a shifting plane in which they are displaceable longitudinally of the car past closed wall sections. During shifting, the sliding wall sections are supported by rollers engageable with a rail, provided in an upper longitudinal stringer, and with the outer lateral surface of an outer lower longitudinal supporting beam, the stringer and the supporting beam forming, in cooperation with two corner posts, a side frame of the freight car. The upper rail is a single rectilinear and uninterrupted rail extending substantially the full length of the upper stringer. Each end section has, in the upper portion of its end adjacent the central section, an outwardly opening pocket having a horizontal catch member extending thereacross.
